Hi all :goodvibes

That's us just rebooked to go back to WDW, at last! ;)

To update, we had to cancel our trip earlier this year because my Dh Wills was taken into hospital with chest pains  It turned out he needed a triple coronary bypass, so we cancelled all our plans :( It was a very worrying time for us all.

Wills has now had his op (5 weeks ago) and it was VERY successful! :yay:

He's recovering very quickly indeed, and do you know the only thing he kept on about the whole time since his first hospital stay? Going back to Florida!!! Think it kept his mind occupied ;)

So, we're booked to go back December 5th for just over 3 weeks! Flying US Airways, staying at Coronado for the first week (just the two of us ;)) before being joined by our Dd and her friend and staying at Sheraton Vistana villages for the rest of our stay, we booked DC last time and got our dates changed so we didn't lose any $'s so we are really looking forward to swimming with the dolphins again!:yay:

We have been in December before but never stayed for Christmas so it's gonna be a new experience :cloud9:

If anyone has any ideas/tips on what to do on Christmad day/Eve we would be very grateful :worship: We are going to book our Adr's as soon as our window opens :thumbsup2

Thanks for listening to me rambling on :lmao: xxx

Great news Audrey.
Glad DH op went so well, I am sure the thoughts of a trip to Florida will help is recovery a lot.
I have never been before Xmas, being in retail I cannot fly until Xmas day, last Xmas was 1st time I have ever been in a park on Xmas day itself. We were on early flight so managed to get in for the evening and see the fireworks. Xmas day thru New Year are crazy crowds but you will be on your way home then.
One thing we really enjoyed last Xmas was visiting all the resorts to see the Xmas decs, GF for the gingerbread house, Beach club for the carousel, pics here of them last Xmas, plus link to a few other pics. You might have seen them before but if not they are great to see.

I'm so glad that things have turned out well for you :goodvibes

We were there last Christmas - on Christmas Eve we went to Sea World and at night watched the Shamu show - it was so good - they played all Christmas music so it really got you in the mood.

Christmas day we went to Ak and had a character breakfast. We then went back to our villa for a few hours & them went to Citricos at the GF. We have also been to the CG on Christmas Day - I think we enjoyed it there more as we got to see the fireworks:thumbsup2

We have also stayed at the Sheraton condos and thought they were really nice & in a good position. Hope you have a great time!

Audrey so glad to hear that a Florida trip is back on the cards :goodvibes:thumbsup2

Brilliant News. My FIL had a triple heart by-pass 15 years ago and has been so healthy ever since.

Did you know you're travelling out on Walt Disney's birthday? - How appropriate!
