Just realized this about MDE and "inactive" cards

I have asked about old tickets before but this just dawned on me today and correct me if this is not the case.
Under MDE>Magicbands and Cards, the "cards" listed are not necessarily park admissions.
Some "inactive" cards are previous KTTW cards from room only reservations.

I dont know why I did see this before. The numbers match on the back of the old cards. Here I thought they were "all" old tickets but that's not the case.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Any RFID card or MagicBand issued to you is linked to your profile unless you deactivate them, including old Key to the World cards.

ok good, so another question. If they were room only and from last year, why would they be showing as "active"

This is all very confusing.
I think I am going to 'deactivate" everything on my account after I visit will call.
I want hard tickets for the new tickets I purchased this way I know they are being used.
Thanks!

My thoughts are...."yep".

They are "active" because when they created this system they just sort of carted any old thing they had from our accounts into the system and called it good. They are active because we haven't yet deactivated them. I had 3 cards from pre-MB days plunked into my account from the moment they put things into our account.
