Just purchased resale at VWL this week. Now I'm worried..........

that ROFL will stop the whole thing. We bought 150 pts at $70 a pt. Seems ridiculously low if they will be selling SSR and add ons for $95 in another month. I could just kick myself for having waited all these years to buy in. We just never seemed to have the money. But always had money to vacation there each year! Now I will be on pins and needles to see if the deal goes through. I would buy through DVC, but I have my heart set on VWL. I don't think they have any points available for VWL anyway. UGH! I can't believe this is happening right when we decide to buy! Will post if I get any news.

Just wanted to point out that no one knows if add on pts are going to be sold at $95.00. There has only been word regarding SSR pts going to $95.00. I do not see how Disney can sell add on pts for all the other DVC resorts for the same price as SSR but with 12 years less usage.

Don't worry, it will be fine and IMHO you will be at the BEST resort on property. Everytime we walk in the front entrance I let out a big sigh and the pressures of the "other" world melt away.

I mentioned this in another thread - my guide today said that she was under the impression from yesterday's meeting that it would apply to SSR only, and that add-ons for the other resorts would remain at $84. She wasn't 100% sure, but close.

we bought 2 separate resales at BWV inside the last 13 months....the second only about 2 months ago.....
the first was 300 pts...the second was 150....we bought both for $70 pp....and both went through....

the 150 contract from 2 months ago sailed through actually....we got the call that disney okayed the purchase within about 10 days of our sending the papers back....

I think the $95 price announcement will not impact where Disney decides to execute ROFR however it may push up the resale market by a couple of dollars

Did you advise your reseller broker that you may want to counter in case Disney decides to execute ROFR?

Hopefully you will have no problem at all! Just depends on whether Disney have someone waiting for that use year points for that resort and they think they can sell them. Also I wonder if in that short period of time when the ROFL is taking place they have to contact that person to see if they want those points before Disney decides to take them back.

Ive been trying to fathom out a patten as I want BCV add on and cannot work out the thinking behind some ROFL!
