Just played the new DVC online game...

I'm really confused as to why I can't participate. Nevada is never excluded from other things so I don't understand why it would be in this case.

Perhaps in your state there may be a law which prohibits the offering of prizes or conducting a contest to encourage a person to purchase ownership in a timeshare.

Yes. As soon as I got 500 it finished the game board I was playing and congratulated and sent me to the exit screen.

Bummer ...I hope these types of games becomes a trend (it doesn't even have to be where you win something, but to just play and have fun). My family and I really enjoyed playing them...yes even DH wanted to play a few times .

Really like the game, played for about 4 days now and just under 250 pts. When I lose a turn I sometimes trade in my chance cards so I can avoid the penalty to win the 15 pts at the end instead of the bonus 3 or 5 for the card!

I have not lost much though....maybe once or twice on a board.

I'm not sure what you mean by "not keeping up with your accumulated points". Do you mean that you are starting with zero points each time you play the game?

What should be happening is that your score should increase a bit at the end of each of the three "lands". At the end of the third land, you get some additional points for any souvenirs you have. That final score should be your starting point the next time you play.

I hit the 500 virtual point maximum on my 8th day of playing. I am bummed I don't get to play anymore. It was very fun.

Now I just have to wait until February to find out if I won. I am keeping my fingers crossed...extra points would be sooo nice!!

I had that until my 3rd day of playing the game. I'm guessing I've lost the points from my first two plays.

So my "virtual points" have just exceeded my real points and I'm ready to start pondering the question posted on the DVC Members website, "What could you do with these ...?"

My answer, "ABD!" I figure I could get two good ABD trips out of the combined total of the sample-membership points plus my own. Sigh ... these would be so fun!

DH and I were thinking long and hard about what we would do if we won....I mean there is so much that we could do that I am salivating just thinking about it . DH said he would use some of the points towards a Disney Cruise (a 14 nighter somewhere) plus a week at Disney either before or after the cruise. With the strenuous Christmas Season that I have been having (I work in retail), I think that sounds like a very good plan .
