I'm not sure how viable this information will be for the coming year but wanted to pass it on anyway. My husband ordered our 3 day park hopper Passport Plus tickets through AAA travel - and they came in today.

Included is :
2 - 3 day parkhoppers

Discount book for each ticket consisting of :

AAA discount card for Select DTD dining/shops
Preferred Seating to Aladdin , Bugs Life , Muppet Vision and Animation Academy
1 Magic Morning Admission ( per ticket)
1 Toon Town Madness admission ( per ticket)

Also a coupon enclosed for the pin/laynard also. I know I read somewhere where some asked if TTM was only included in packages , but we ordered tickets only via AAA who then ordered them through Disney Travel.

I have included photos below also.

How exciting! We booked through AAA our trip including one night @ DLH. We got 2 day Park Hopper tickets. Hopefully ours includes everything you got! :) What's the difference between Magic Morning Admission and TTM?

From what I understand and recall - Magic Morning allows early entry to select areas of the park an hour early - some of Fantasyland I know is included there.

TTM allows access an hour early to ToonTown at regular park opening before it goes public on certain days allowing you to miss some of the huge crowds later.

Hope this helps :)

Just to add a few specifics, Magic Morning is offered on select days of the week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) and allows you to enter the park an hour before regular opening. Most attractions in Tomorrowland and Fantasyland are open during that hour. Fastpasses are not available during Magic Morning. Guests staying on-site can go to Magic Morning any day it is available. Guests staying off-site will get one MM entry with their 3-day or more parkhoppers.

TTMM is generally offered on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday and allows you to enter ToonTown an hour before it opens to the public. Since TT opens an hour after the rest of the park, it means TTMM starts at regular park opening on those selected days. TTMM vouchers are available only to those that book a package, either through Disney directly or through Costco, AAA, etc.

Awesome! This is great to know! Thanks for the update.

If you get tickets ONLY through AAA, it has to be the PASSPORT PLUS tickets to get the magical extras, not just a regular ticket. We did the same thing and got 4 day PH which included everything PP pictured. The savings card is good -- saved us a bit of money. I actually have 2 extras, plus one slightly used one, that expire 12/31 if anyone wants them. The pin and lanyard that you get is a red lanyard that has the AAA vacations logo on it and comes with a DL pin with 4 of the characters on it.

Thanks so much for posting! I love seeing the pictures.

Are the passport plus tickets more money? I just booked a hotel and we were going to order AAA tickets just for the extras but I'm wondering what the prices are and if you can also order a 4 day parkhopper? The 4 day park hopper is $219 on the disney site and the 3 day is $199 so for $20 more we might be able to go the evening we arrive. Also, if we are going on Jan 2, is there still enough time to order them this late? How long did they take to come in? I have to get 6 adult (grrr-12 years olds are adults!) so any savings helps a lot. I tried to find the info out on the AAA website but it just says call your local office.

Can you also tell me what restaurants give the discount, please? I haven't been able to find a list anywhere. Is it 10%? Shops too? Thanks again.

I think the Passport Plus tickets we have are for this year only , as their first use must be by Dec 31st 2011. However that isn't to say that AAA won't be offering new deals for this coming year , so any information I post may only pertain to this year's tickets.

When we decided we wanted to go to Disneyland my first call was to AAA , as it is how my family has always bought theme park tickets. I was helped by a local office and informed they have their Passport Plus Parkhopper tickets - they do offer 3 day , 4 day and others as well. The prices differ between a few factors :

Length of stay - 3 day , 4 day , etc.
Ordering through Disney Travel at AAA office ( Takes about 2 to 3 weeks but saves money) vs picking up same day at AAA office

We opted to have our agent order them via Disney Travel early in November for our Dec 15th-19th trip. We got a phone call the day after Thanksgiving they were ready for pickup - so about 2.5 weeks to arrive. The price difference was $189.00 for a 3 day Passport Plus ordered via Disney Travel vs. $219.00 for an adult 3 day Passport Plus ticket picked up at the office immediately.

The benefit of the Passport Plus tickets are these :

AAA Discount Card for Select Restaurants and Shops (Photo below)
Free Parking included
ToonTown Madness entry
1 Magic Morning Entry
Preferred Seating for 4 shows

These prices and tickets again can change at any time and may not apply to the coming year in 2012.

With that said I think it matters if these perks are worth the money opposed to buying the tickets online at Disneyland.com. For us , it was but it's all individual :)

Thanks for your reply. I was able to zoom in on your first pics and saw the diamond card expired at the end of the year. Hopefully, they will have a new card but I won't hold my breath knowing how slow some things are these days. I agree with you that the perks are well worth it and it's good to know that it took under 3 weeks since I only have about 4 weeks. You must have a nice agent there to help you figure out you could save money by ordering rather than taking the ones in stock and saving even more money.

I really appreciate you scanning the discounts too. I am pretty sure that you need this particular card to get those discounts. Just having a AAA card only gives discounts for a couple of restaurants so I think it is well worth it if you can get it! Good for you for doing the research.

I have 2 kids and both are inviting friends. My son is 16 and inviting his girlfriend for the first time. I spoke to her mom yesterday and she is supposed to let me know by today. I had to book 2 rooms because of the girlfriend so it's a fortune and any discounts help since we didn't plan far in advance to get good room rates. If she can't come, then he won't come and I will just book through Costco and pick a Disney hotel to treat the younger girls. Costco gives you almost the same benefits minus the discounts but gives a $20 gift card and a character meal so that is a good benefit.

As much as I want my son to come, I am secretly hoping the girlfriend can't go so we can stay at the newly renovated DLH. The whole trip is a Christmas surprise for dd so it's a lot of hush hush planning and it's funny that her friend knows but she doesn't!

I can't decide where to stay if gf comes since Disney only allows 5 people and our usual off site places are booked. I have reservations at Fairfield Inn ($1060) and Desert Inn ($1275). Can you imagine paying that much money for these properties-ugh. Fairfield has the sleeper chair so the gf won't have to share a bed with me but the Desert Inn has 2 Q and a sofa bed in a separate room so she would have some privacy. Can't decide and read Fairfield had bedbugs-ewww. Yep, really torn between hoping her dad says NO and wanting my son to come.

Anyway, thanks so much for posting and I will go down to AAA with your info to see if they can figure out the pricing for the new year if the gf goes.

PS Anyone know how to get the old ticker off and keep the new ticker?
