To anyone that wanted to eat at t-rex and couldnt book through disney well I read on another thread if you ring direct you can get in and by joe you can.Just phoned with 3 dates and a range of times and said weds 29th between 12-2 and the cm said every half hour between those times so booked 12.30.Means another one to pay for but DD really wanted to do it so a nice suprise for her.

We've booked with them this way before and you have picked a good time to go. They don't open much before then so it will be relatively quiet - especially compared to the evenings.

Yes! Evenings are insanely loud! You will at least be able to enjoy the atmosphere by going at the time you have chosen.

I've planned to eat lunch at the T-Rex on our last day before we head off to the airport. Not sure whether or not to bother with booking a table in advance or just chancing our luck on the day. It would be nice not to have an ADR so we are not tied to a time, but on the other hand it will be our last chance to eat there so we would be very dissappointed if we couldn't get a table. So now I'm leaning towards ringing them for a reservation

Does anyone know what time we have to check out of our room at ASMo?

I know at pop and other disney resorts it is 11am. You can walk up but sometimes they have long waits like others have said to me if you go earlier say 12.30 you will have more chance of it being quiet

You check out at 11 am although I have been successful by asking for a later check out time. It depends how full the resort is. However, as Alyson pointed out, it may work in your favour to check out on time and head straight for T-Rex.

That would be great. I've read some reviews and know that not everyone likes it, but hey, we're going because we think our kids will enjoy it, not for fine dining!

Yeah, I think I might as well bite the bullet and book for an early lunch and then we have the rest of the afternoon to go somewhere else if we don't want to hang around DTD.

If you go as soon as they open you would have no trouble getting a walk up at T-Rex.
We have been twice at that time - both straight after doing Virgins DTD check in - and on each time there has been no queue. Any time after about 1pm and I tihnk you would have to join a queue and take your chances.
