Hi,

I just phoned Disney to buy AP's and the (very nice) CM said they couldn't do it. She looked it up and said they couldn't ship to the UK. They had to be bought once we got to Disney!

Has anyone else tried to buy them in the last few days?

Do you think she's mistaken or have they stopped doing it???

Any ideas???

This often happens when you try to buy tickets for MNSSHP and MVMCP. You either have to politely insist that they check, or call back and hope to speak with a CM who knows differently. There's got to be at least a good chance that you're experiencing the same problem.

.....or possibly try the will call option (pick up when you arrive):earsboy:

Our PAP (voucher) came the other day. Ring again, they charged me $3 for shipping, and nothing when they sent the correct PAP the second time round! (first one was a renewal PAP!)

We're really hoping to buy APs' for our trip...........just waiting to see how high the rate will go.......wonder why they make it so difficult to buy them over here?

Ours arrived around 3 weeks back, likewise we were charged around $3 for shipping, give it another go :)

just called back to try again, and the guy i spoke to thought it could be done, but said he would have to call through to someone to double check. He also said we could definately do the will call option.

At the moment, i've got ultimate park hoppers included in the holiday with virgin, but i'm thinking of taking them off and getting the ap instead, so we would go next years as well.

Virgin are going to charge me £25 x 2 as an admin fee, but i still think it would be worth it as we would save around £450 on next years tickets, (and with the exchange rate at the moment, they are working out cheaper than before).

Do you think it's worth changing them, or should i just leave it as it is.
We weren't actually planning to go next year as this one is costing so much and taken us a year and a half to save for. However, with ap's we wouldn't have to pay for disney tickets, we could slum it in the all stars (;) only joking) with an ap rate if they came out and we wouldn't need to do all the universal, seaworld etc again. So we should be able to do it around 1/2 the price.

Any thoughts??

Korbs - upgrade to APs and book for next year!!

We did something very similar - book one holiday with APs and have another cheaper one because of no ticket costs!

Yup! Just to confirm that...I took the 'will call' option when I bought mine in November for December and it was easy-peasy :)

AP's are the way to go!!! :)

Getting an annual pass is a good excuse to book more trips!! We bought one last year and have just purchased another one.

We managed to get three trips out of the pass last year by going December 2002 then April 2003, and again in November just before it expired.
