Just ordered my Bagallini!

I've read so much about these bags on these boards and really like the look but have some questions.
I have a ds, 4 and dd 1, and usually take a backpack in the park to hold all of their necessities.
Is this bag too small to hold some wipes and diapers?
Wont need to lug bottles or baby food this time around. Just wondering.
Thanks in advance!

Yes it will hold some diapers and wipes. Looking at mine - the main bag part looks like it would hold travel size wipes and about 8 or so diapers.

I have the same question! I will have a 5 year old and a 2 year old when I go in August. Will it fit all their "stuff"? (snacks, sippie cup, diapers, wipes, etc) In addition to that "stuff", will it still fit MY stuff?

MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION....should I just get BORRING BLACK so DH can use it, or do you think the bag is too feminine as it is and DH WON'T want to carry it, and I should just get PINK? :confused3

THANKS!!!!!

I will say I thought long and hard about the color and whether or not to make it husband friendly. I decided he would never wear it and I went with purple. When it came he saw how excited I was and called me a dork :lmao: I dont think he would have used it no matter what.

As for the size, its hard to say with what you want to put in there. It measures 13" tall, 10" wide and 4" deep. The main pocket itself measures about 4 inches deep and then theres the secondary pocket on the front of it. Plus the spot for a bottle (water, milk, beer :rolleyes1 ) and a spot for your cell that are both not taking up the main compartment.

My baggallini came today!!! I love it! It is like no other messenger type bag that I've ever tried before. It is so comfortable - and the little zip compartment on the front strap is perfect for our passes!!! If it weren't for the DISboards I'd have never known about them!!:disrocks:

I love my bag and used it last fall at the parks. DS was 10 months at the time and I "carried" an additional bag as well.

In my Bagallini I carried the stuff I felt I needed quick access to.
passes, money/cc, phone, camera, usually 2-3 diapers, a ziplock bag of wipes, changing pad and them some other misc. things for me

I then had a backpack which was almost always in the stroller. It had more diapers (6-8), more wipes, extra clothes, receiving blanket, a toy or two, and DS food for the day. I really only pulled the diaper bag out at meal times and I would "reload" the bagallini at meal time w/ diapers and wipes if necessary. I was able to access the backpack without taking it out of the stroller, so that helped.

I don't think the bagallini can completely replace a diaper bag. You might be able to fit everything in, but it might no longer be fun to carry. I currently use mine daily and carry pretty much the same things in it now that I did at the parks (minus the passes)! I hate carrying a diaper bag, so I just leave backup stuff in the car now when we are out and about.

Ok, I am so out of it. This is the first time I have ever heard of these things. When I go to amusement parks, etc I usually wear my old fanny pack so I don't have to carry a purse. Does nobody wear fanny packs anymore? Is this more comfortable?
Thanks

Just ordered mine! I've had my eye on them for some time. I kept debating whether or not it was something I really needed or not. However the 20% off and free shipping did me in! I believe my total was $25.16! :woohoo: That 20% off Paypal deal said it was just for today though.

I decided on Periwinkle. I really love purple, but their purple wasn't catching my eye like the Periwinkle. I can't wait to get it!

Just got my baggallini yesterday!!!!!
I love it. I got the pink in ripstop. It is a very nice fuscia. Can't wait to pack it for Nov.:lmao:

Thanks for the Shoebuy code. I went ahead and ordered one for my daughter! (she fell in love with mine, I got it today!)

I ordered one for my recent trip based on advice from the Dis. I too ordered khaki just so DH would be willing to carry it. This is how it worked for me:

yup, DH was willing to carry it as it was not a girlie color.

yup, a water bottle fits in the side, mesh pocket.

nope, my cell phone did not fit well in the front pocket in the strap. We used this pocket for everyones "keys to the world" and never had to worry about losing them.

We designated a certain pocket for fastpasses, never lost one.

....a certain pocket just for our photopass.

.....an inside pocket for cell phones.

....a sharpie for writing our cell phone numbers on the hand of our three kids.

.... snacks for all three kids (small boxes of raisins, sometimes pop tarts, fruit gushers, chex mix etc.)

.... rain ponchos for everyone.

.... the camera.

.... cash or disney dollars.

..... band aids, moleskins, extra set of car keys, the golf cart key, park map, and DH wallet, cell phone and cash on any water rides.

Even loaded, it was pretty comfortable to carry. The pockets are perfect, you'll find one that is a perfect fit for anything. It fits more stuff than the size indicates. It was easy to swing around to the front of me without taking it off, this was great for getting on rides or needing something out of it while we were walking.

Overall, for those of you that bought it for an upcoming trip, I think you'll love it. Because of how perfect it was for our trip, I put it away in the "Disney box", for our future trips. So, it will still be in good condition :thumbsup2

I just ordered myself a Baggalini after reading all the positive chatter. :thumbsup2 I purchased a periwinkle one, and luckily my husband will hold it no matter what the color-he could care less if it was hot pink, zebra stripes or anything else. The 20% off promo is still running if you pay with Paypal. My total came to $25.16. The bag will definitely come in handy on our next trip to Disney-only 8 days until we leave for the mouse! :earboy2:

I have to laugh about the cell phone pocket- I have the Treo and there is no way I could stuff that baby in there :lmao: So far I have a mini first aid kit, tide to go, mini kleenex. We dont leave until the 12th so I am adding slowly.

Your husband is a good man :lmao:

Yes, he's definitely a keeper! :woohoo: He says that he would rather hold a hot pink (or whatever color) bag and have most people figure that he is holding his wife's bag than to hold a black or brown one and have people think he has a "man purse" (his words, not mine). :rotfl2:
