Thanks everyone - lots of good suggestions here. I was intrigued by the antics reported to occur at Whispering Canyon, and that was my first choice, but I see I have some more research to do! O'Hana seems to be a favorite of a lot of people - but not going until Dec 09 so have a lot of time to figure it out.

I'd say Boma at the AKL! Their food is unbelievably good and there's something for everybody from the most picky eater to the most adventurous. You'll get to see animals before and after you eat right from the lodge and the atmosphere throughout the property is incredible!

Ditto, I'm going soon and only booking one TS meal: Boma bfast, but have had Boma dinner before and highly recommend it. After Narcoossee's it was probably the favorite TS meal. It is the biggest and broadest buffet at WDW. Also there are some "cool" things to see at the Lodge.

TEPPAN EDO!!! This place has the best food and its a great atmosphere. You have your own cook at your table that juggles cooking utensils. They make it so much fun by interacting with all the guests. And who can forget the smoking volcano! The food is amazing too! I had steak, chicken, vegetables, and noodles. And everything was cooked wonderfully! I'm a VERY (and I mean very) picky eater. The desert too was good! Its the only place where you can go to eat and eat yourself full, but you dont feel so full like you cant even to walk. Teppan Edo is absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!!!! We are planning on eating there twice on our trip coming up.
