I need a room for the night we arrive, then we're moving to Shades of Green the next day. Flying in to MCO and hoping to rent a car (if rates come down) I'd really like something close to Disney Springs, but not necessary. Any suggestions for something under $100 that's clean just for 1 night? And preferably with no parking charge. I know I'm asking for a lot! :)

I expect you'll get many suggestions! We had a very good 1-night experience at the Delta (it's a Marriott), just off I4 and very near Hotal Plaza Blvd, which takes you to DS. I seem to recall about $100. Might be one to look at. I expect there will be several you can check in that area.

Your dates could highly vary your rates but ... check out the hotels on Palm Parkway just outside Disney Springs. They are highly competitive in a great location. Hampton Inn was being renovated our last stay 2019, and they consistently have great rates, no extra fees.

The Marriott Village just south of I-4 on Vineland has great rates but I believe they have small add on fees.

Thank you! I will check it out.

I just put in a reservation for the Springhill Suites in Flamingo Crossing. Not Disney Springs but adjacent to Disney property, closer to Animal Kingdom. The rates when I was looking in early December the were $117 nonrefundable and $135 refundable (and with the state of the world, we thought it was worth it to pay a little more to go refundable). It's a little above your price range, but there are no resort or parking fees and it includes a free breakfast, plus the whole property is relatively new (I think built in 2016 or 2017) and all the reviews say it's relatively clean and safe.

I haven’t stayed there before, but for our October trip I booked one night at Rosen Lake Buena Vista, for our arrival night before moving to the Poly. It’s basic but gets good reviews. I booked it on Chase reward points, but the cash prices for my dates were around $85.

What is your travel month? That has a lot to do with rates. Right now I can get rooms at pop or ASM for under a $100 in the next 30 days

And use autoslash for your rates, it will also alert you if they come down.

Depending on your travel dates, you can find the hotels at Lake Buena Vista (Hilton, B Resort, Sheraton, DoubleTree) for at or under 100$. They'll be within walking distance of DS.

Only problem is they have the resort fees and Disney Springs area hotels have higher taxes.

Double Tree Lake Buena Vista is as low as $92 right now but with taxes and fees comes out to $148 out the door.

Rosen LBV is great for the price. I use to stay there alot when you could get Choice points but sadly they discontinued their association with Choice hotels.
