. . . cruise question!! (I could not plan a Disney vacation without this board!!) I want to book two cabins on the 8/19/06 cruise but can't afford the deposit right before Christmas. Can I book each cabin with just 2 people and add the other 3 people after Christmas? Will that change the cabin I'm assigned or are they assigned closer to the cruise date?

Yes you can do this, but be certain to book rooms that have the correct capacity. It sounds like you need a quad and a triple.

There's always a possibility that adding someone after the fact may be a problem due to overall capacity issues, but it sounds like you're doing it early enough.

If you have kids age 3 and potty trained to age 12, you should get them on the original ressies because DCL only allows so many kids in each age group on each cruise and if the kid allotment fills up you can't add them (and then you probably wouldn't go without them)

if the price goes up at the time you adding the other 3 people, they'll be charged the prevailing rate.
