Just one more...Help us please!

DBF and I are almost to our 90 day mark and still haven't decided on all the places we want to eat! We are on the DDP and have 7 TS credits/person we need some help on our final choice-here's what we have so far:
Restaurant Ashkershus
Boma
Restaurant Marrakesh-using 2 credits for candlelight processional
Ohana
Liberty Tree Tavern-for the evening we go to MVMCP

LTT, Boma, and Restaurant Marrakesh are repeats (we've been there before), but Ohana and Ashkershus are new to us. We would like our final choice to be somewhere we haven't been to before.
Other places we have been:
Sci Fi Dine-in
Coral Reef (x3)
Chefs de France (x3)
Kona Cafe
1900 Park Fare
Crystal Palace (x3)
Mama Melrose (x2)
Garden Grill
Le Cellier

So...what do you recommend? Please know that we're not all that interested in Tutto Italia or San Angel Inn as we have GREAT Italian and Mexican places at home and would like to try something different. Also, DBF does not like to go to restaurants where they try and make you do things (so Whispering Canyon is out as is 50's Prime Time Cafe). DBF's favorite restaurant is Boma and mine is/was Chefs de France (but I'm giving it up on this trip as they didn't have my favorite meal on the menu the last time I was there).

Have you considered venturing out a bit more to the resorts this time maybe? Like trying the new place Kouzzina at the Boardwalk.

There are also some neat places over at DTD, like the new Paradisio 37 or Fulton's Crab House?

Just an FYI...Paradiso 37 and Fulton's are not part of the DDP so you would have to pay OOP (out of pocket) for meals at either one.

My suggestion would be The Wave at the Contemporary. It gets absolutely glowing reviews and we are very excited to try it on our next trip.

We definitely want to keep it to DDP options only, but we are certainly open to resort restaurants. I just checked out The Wave menu-it looks yummy-I'll have to show it to DBF.

The only 2TS credit choice on her list is the CP package at Marrakesh.

Jess - you are correct, only one of your meals is 2TS credits. That would be the CP at Marrakesh. All of the others on your list are 1TS credit each.

We had lunch at the Wave. I recommend you do dinner. Their lunch menu was really scaled back from the dinner. The Tusker House is great if you have kids. It has some of the items from Boma.

We really like Garden Grill, good food and fun to eat in a rotating restuarant--with characters!!

What is there not to like!!

Last year we ate lunch at the Grand Flordian Cafe and it was excellent! Great food, good service. Couldn't ask for more.

Askerhaus in Norway is a character meal and is a 2TS credit on the DDP.

Lake Queen-we've been to Garden Grill before and really liked it! In fact, DBF suggested that at first as our final choice, but we decided we wanted to do 3 familiar/3 "unknown" restaurants this trip (and we already have our 3 familiar), so it's off the list for this trip-but we will definitely be going back someday!
Tigger-I'll have to check out the menu for the Grand Floridian Cafe-I love being at that resort, it makes me feel fancy-lol!

MissyTara-just to be sure I went and checked out the official Disney website where it lists all the restaurants and their DDP entitlements...Ashkershus is just 1 TS credit-in fact, all DDP TS restaurants in Epcot are 1 TS credit (except for the Candlelight Processional), so if you are going to Ashkershus and were counting it as 2 TS credits/person, you just freed up some credits!

Some recommendations:

Yak & Yeti - it's not really chinese food. Stay away from the lo mein, but the steak/shrimp and the ribs are great! (and the green beans are worth the trip alone.)

Sanaa - ok, I was scared about that. I like Boma, but I'm not a fan of Indian food (curry, tandoori). WOW. We had a great lunch. My waiter told me that the absolutely heavenly pickled lime and ginger sauce on my pork chop was on the sustainable fish at night. I can't wait to go back.

Tokyo Dining or Teppan Edo - I love the service at both. TE is not the best Japanese steak house, but it is fun. TD is pretty good, even if you don't like sushi (like me!).

Yes, Akershus is a great value if you want to dine with the Princesses. I always suggest that people use one table service credit there and one at 1900 Park Fare if they are looking for Princess dining. That way they get two meals with the Princesses for the same credit cost as a meal in the castle. Of course the castle does hold it's own appeal and some people are looking for that. If not then Akershus and 1900 Park Fare are the way to go!

My DH LOVES Biergarten. The entertainment and theme are really fun and the food selection is delicious! If you haven't tried it & want something different, I highly suggest it.

I would second the Biergarten! Great food and great entertainment!

I would be all about Biergarten-I'm German and LOVE saurkraut, kielbasa, and every kind of wurst there is-but living in Columbus, OH provides me with the best German food I've EVER had! There's a German Village here and at the end of a narrow brick-paved road is Schmidt's Sausage Haus with the Audobon Buffet-It's amazing! If you're ever in Columbus it's definitely a "must eat"

I think right now we're between Sanaa and The Wave-I'd love to hear about either one if you've eaten there and what you had!
