... we got an interesting recorded call in the room. DVC was running a "sale" on Hilton Head and Vero Beach points ($80 per point)... We get back on the Magic on Saturday... curious to see if the offer is still available

$80 is the normal price -- this is not a discount.

I have seen some Vero resales in the $35 to $55 range. Not sure that $80 is a great price...

... In all of our cruises I have never had DVC call up using the word "sale"... just seemed unuusal and I thought it was intresting that they were targeting the two off property sites... It was a busy trip so no time to attend a DVC meet... getting back on Magic tommorrow and will attended a meeting..

As far as resales I am not afraid to "buy where I want to stay"... we will personally just hold off on resale transactions in general until the dust settles a bit with all of the buzz concerning possible changes...
