I did notice a lot people stayed outside on the way back. We had the impulsive eight year old with us so it was safer inside.

I would love to go parasailing sometime. It looks so serene seeing people floating up there. Walking up that long flight of stairs to get on the tram ride was a lot of exercise for me. The view of St. Thomas from up there was well worth the exercise.

Just a few months ago, I went on a Holland America cruise to St. Thomas with my sister. We took the island tour that took us up to one of the highest spots on the island. Everywhere we looked was a photo opportunity. I could see the tram ride from up there. Didn't know I would be on it a few months later.

On that cruise we went to the Grand Turk island. Except for the usual beautiful views of the ocean, the jail, lighthouse, and donkeys were all we could see. The island doesn't have very much high land on it. I would skip it if I ever got a chance to stop there again. I can't see Disney ever choosing it for a visit.

It did have all the usual water sports and a nice beach, but the other islands have a lot more to offer.

We heard about the sub and the whales, but didn't see them. It was our first cruise, so we were happy just being there. It was great meeting some DISers too, though we didn't get a chance to mingle much since there were so many other family activities.
