Just off the Dream 4/22-4/29

I really enjoyed it! I could tell the waitstaff got a bit overextended mid-cruise, but I figured it was due to short staffing or not being used to 7 night sailings. Either way, we bought the 10% off the next cruise and are expecting to go at some point in 2024. I know there are a few threads complaining about this sailing, but it blew our NCL trips out of the water.

We have never tried NCL and we keep changing our minds about whether we want to or not! I suspect we will some day.

Do you remember what bourbons they had in the tasting?

I know Larceny was first and Woodford Reserve (I think double oak) was last (they were the ones I liked least and most, respectively). I believe Yellowstone was second (we added water to this as part of the taste exploration) and Knob Creek (my second fave) was third.

Do any of the European itineraries interest you for that future cruise deposit? I've always wanted to do Greece or Norway.

Oh, yes the European itineraries, especially Greece and Norway, interest us tremendously!! That said, we are unlikely to choose DCL for European itineraries. That is a big premium to pay for so much time off the ship.

Not OP but DH did it in March and I remember he said Whistle
Pig, Blantons, and Woodford Double Oak. They had 4 different ones total. A bunch of people didn’t show up so they gave everyone 2 samples of each instead of one.

We definitely didn't have Whistle Pig or Blantons. Our host made it a point to mention how hard it is to find many brands these days, once they have become popular. I'm sure he included Blantons and maybe Whistle Pig.
