Nope just every after fireworks. Pirate activities in clubs but still not official pirate night. Bandanas we’re at dinner not in our room which was different

Did Grand Cayman seem generally open? As far as the normal excursions?

Most at all open. A few of the companies went out of business when I was researching excursions. Plus bad weather that day. I booked a private deep sea fishing but was cancelled.

Lots of folks pitching excursions shoreside. But not sure what’s legit. From what I heard 1030 am folks did not get to stingray city but 1pm folks did.

We took a cab to cayman distillery and samples 17 rums!!! For only $15. It was great. And toured how rum was made. 8 minute taxi ride from ports. I highly suggest if stuck to land excursion.
We were only the 7th day of ship back in port. It was huddle and Biddle but o only limited still to 2 ships at the port.

We did the shipwreck and reef sail and snorkel and really enjoyed it. I do have to say that there weren't a lot of options for excursions for us for Grand Cayman.

They had paper menus on our Jan 2nd Fantasy cruise if you were unable to get the QR code to work or you didn't have a smart phone

We were also on this cruise. You would have to ask for a menu. They never offered us any menus, just expected us to use our phones. We never asked for any menus and didn't notice anyone around us using them.

We had to ask for them. We did get them after asking every night. Even asked In palo. Only paper though, not the fancy binder which I hope comes back as that adds to the experience. I don’t like reading the menu on my phone.

Agreed. Feels lazy for DCL not to have them. RCL has them.

We were on the same cruise as you and had an amazing time! Was happy that we got the lower capacity but sad we missed a lot of the COVID protocols being lifted. The only paper menus we were given with out asking was at Remy, but we never tried asking for them in the main dining rooms because we always had our phones with us. Sort of had too because that's how the Navigator was being offered. I miss the days of getting them in the room at night.

Also, after the fireworks they did show PoTC on the Funnel Vision, so that was a nice surprise!

How many power outlets are in a fantasy stateroom? With 5 of us in one room and needing our phones to do everything on the ship now are there enough outlets to get them all charged overnight? I don’t think we are allowed power strips.

We were in a deluxe verandah and there were two USB ports on the desk area and I think one on one side of the bed, plus two 110 plugs and two 220 on the desk.
