Just off 3 night Wonder 4/8-4/11 ... Had a Great Time!

We have been home about an hour now.

This was our second DCL cruise as a family, and I have to say that it was better than the first one in July 2008.

We booked with the kids sail free promo ... and from the looks of things, so did a lot of other people.

We had great service in the dining rooms and felt the food was just fine.

Our stateroom host was fine and we had towel animals every night.

My kids enjoyed the kids clubs and didn't seem to be bothered at all with the age limits removed. My 6 year old enjoyed some club and some lab activities. My 8 year old was strictly in the lab.

We had a great time at Castaway Cay. The weather was great for the beach. We had a bit of rain in the early afternoon, but by the time we finished with lunch, the rain was gone.

The ship staff were all very nice and friendly. It was just top notch.

Overall, we just had a great time and wonderful weather.

What do you mean by "age limits removed?" Did they mix different ages groups? If so, is that something new? Thanks.

yes this is new. they used to have the younger kids and the older kids separated so that they could do more "age appropriate" activities. but from what i've read and understand, now they can do whichever activities they want, which is also a good thing for younger children who have older siblings and don't want to be separated from them.
