Just noticed bed configuration different for OKW & Epcot resorts:

OKW has two double beds (real beds as opposed to the sofa bed and a real bed) in their studios and in the second bedroom of the two bedrooms - apparently BWV and BCV and WLV offer the one reg. bed and a sofa bed.

Is it better to have the "real" beds for comfort rather than have to hassle with a sofa bed? and how is the comfort of the sofa beds compared to a real bed?

This one of those 6 of one and 1/2 dozen of others situation. Some like the two queens at OKW, others like the sofa-bed situation, there is no correct answer, just preferences.

Some of the dedicated 2BRs at BCV and all dedicated 2BR's at VWL have 2 queen beds. There are no dedicated 2BR's at BWV, so all have 1 queen and the sleep sofa.

Otherwise, as Pa@okw95 mentioned, it's all personal preference.

Personal preference yes, but trip specific even more.

Just me and the wife, the couch is better. Me and the kid, two double beds. The second bedroom is just as specific. Another couple, the couch is better. two or more kids, the beds are better.

I believe the only studios with 2 QUEEN beds are OKW and VB (Inn rooms). The confirgurations for the other WDW resorts are mentioned above. VB also has the pull out in the second BR. I'm not certain about HH though I'm sure there are those that know.

All 21 Studios at HH have 1 queen and the sleep sofa. All 2BR's are dedicated (they usually will not allow a reservation for a lock-off 2BR although that configuration is a possibility).

depends - it you are at the parks until they close and do E-nights - I would stay at OKW - you just have to change clothes and drop off.

If you want to enjoy the resort and come back at a decent hour and it is only 2 of you - BCV or VWL or BWV - depending upon which park you are going to be doing for the majority of your trip.
