We arrive on Sunday at the BoardWalk. Just received a letter telling us Luna Park Pool will be closed on 1/2 and no other pool hopping options are available for us. Just not right in my opinion

Really? They wont let you into SAB. For this trip. Hmmm. See if they'll move you to another accommodating resort then. That has an operating feature pool... good luck...

We arrive on Saturday. Haven't gotten a notice. Other pools at YC/BC have been available in the past. I would wait to find out the situation when we arrive.

I had not heard before that they won't offer a pool hopping privilege if their pool is under repair. A phone call to the resort might be beneficial.

When we stayed at GCV the same thing happened to us. We had looked forward to using the pool and slide well no letter either at home or in the villa and no pool hopping was available. Only a large hot tub was able to be used. I asked could we use the other hotels. My answer was this is not Florida.

they allowed yc/bc to go over to luna when sab was being refurbed. not fair it is not the same for luna to sab

Unless pool hopping is blacked out for that time frame (it is until Jan 5), you can pool hop to any WDW resort (except for those excluded from the program - BC/YC/BCV, BLT, AKV/AKL, AoA, S/D). So no reason you can't hop over to CBR or CR or CSR or whatever.

Until sometime in March. And though the letter didn't state options beyond the quiet pools, several people have reported that MS is telling people SAB will be available to BW guests and there will be golf transportation.

I got the notice that the feature pool would be closed but I don't remember reading anything about pool hopping not available. Should not be a problem unless you are there in a black out period. We check in 1/11.

We were at the boardwalk once when the pool was closed...they did provide transportation to and from SAB

Just got off the phone with MS and they stated that we will ONLY be able to use the quite pools at BWV during the Luna Park Pool rehab.

I just got the letter and we are checking in on 1/10. The quiet pools are not a suitable replacement for a fully themed pool with a waterslide.
Seems like there is conflicting info from MS - several people have posted that we can use SAB and there will be a golf cart transport, but others say that is not going to be an option. UGH!
I will call MS myself later on and try to get a reasonably informed person to give it to me straight!

Unless you plan to change resort because of the Luna Park pool closing, I would wait to get to the Boardwalk if you want a real answer.
I am not sure MS can really help for that.

Last time they close SAB, I was at the Boardwalk and there was golf cart transporting guest from BC to the BWV for the pool.

I do not see why they would not do the reverse now. Specially that, in january, it might not be a good time for swimming so the SAB will surely not be that crowded
