Our trip dates were Oct. 14-23.

Bit of background:
My DH isn't the biggest WDW fan but I am so I decided to make a corporate decision and take the kids on separate mother/kid trips on their 13th birthdays. Two years ago I did this with my son and now it was my daughters turn, with one major difference. My son is easy going and easy to please and we ended having a wonderful time and shared lots of "just us" memories. Well my DD is EXTREMELY high maintenance and well......if you have one of these children you just ........know. Let's see if even WDW can make her happy. I'll try to stay positive and even throw in pixie dust which will equal "made Mickey happy"!!

Travellers:
Me: 42 year old Mum and lover of all things Disney!
Mickey: 13 DD who is pretty intense, high maintenance, hard to please, etc. You get the picture. The good Lord only knows if it's her age or hormones or what? Let's just say SHE is the biggest thrill ride!!

Day 1

Woke at 4:45 am to start our day of airport hopping. We had free FF miles tickets so we went from Duluth MN to MSP to Cinncinnati to MCO. On our last leg our seats were not together so I sat with a nice lady about my own age and chatted about Ireland (I had just been and her husband was from there) and commiserated about easy/difficult children. What else is a mother to do? Back to MCO. We made all our connections and were happy to see all our luggage. Headed over to Dollar rental and LOVE, LOVE,LOVED being first in line at the Fast Lane service counter. No problems at all and headed outside to take a great first smell of Florida and see what we were assigned for a car. Well we got a cheap Ford taurus but hay, that's what we paid for so all is well. I was thankful it was still light out, which meant less chance of getting lost. No problems there either and soon we were under the WDW arches. I did my usual happy dance chear (DD rolls her eyes) and on we go to Pop Century. DD went to check out the pool and lobby area while I checked in and I had forgotten to request my fridge (I did a fridge swap) but they had it right there for me. A CM helped me get it to the room and so we set that up. We needed to wake up a bit so we checked out the computer pool. We were in the rubix cube building, top floor. After a swim we drove to the Pepper Market at the CSR. We have eaten here a few times and have always enjoyed the steak. The fries were good too and my DD LOVED the pickles!! PIXIE DUST = made Mickey happy! Last time we had a great big beautiful piece of cheese cake here but this time it was small and had been sitting there all day and got rubbery. ICK and not worth the 4-6$! Oh well the steak dinner was very good.

When we got back to the resort we did alot of unpacking and got ourselves to bed for an early start at Epcot.

Love my WDW resort room, love my Mickey! :sunny:

Great start! My DD7 is high maintenance herself so I am very interested in your report. :)

Day 2

Today we spent all day at Epcot. I had bought a room package with a 1 day base ticket so that's where we will be today. We made it there 5 minutes before opening and let the Soaring CMs lead the way to The Land for the opening start of the day. Loved this ride, just too short, but fun. Got a FF for later and then went to do MS (full throttle) and TT. Got a TT FP then looked for some snacks and drinks. I think we just ate a few things I brought in my purse and water.? Went back to do SSE but the line was too long or broke down? So we went to the Living Seas. Turtle talk had too long of a wait and they were only letting AP holders onto that Nemo clam ride. Mmmmm what to do? Did Journey into Imagination and then back to Soaring. Time to head to France for lunch. We had reservations at 12 noon for Chef De France. We shared the lunch menu of big grilled ham and cheese sandwich with a nice fresh side salad and big bowl of onion soup. Really nice lunch and we added a side of fries for Mickey. We couldn't finish the soup, it was so filling. We also liked the creme' brulee. Mickey is not a sweets eater so I got to polish this off. At first I wasn't that thrilled with it but maybe it's addicting because I ended up scrapping it all out of the bowl. But I'm still probably more of a cheese cake lover. Also a very nice waitress.

Left to go back to Pop. It was hot!! Mickey swam while I went to the desk to get my HDDR tickets and other maps. We enjoyed just relaxing by the pool sipping frozen coke with my refillable mug.

Back to Epcot to do more TT but it was down. Back to MS to do it half throttle. From here we went to Mexico to do El Rio de Tempo. I needed to get to Japan to see if I could get my pearl done into a pendant setting. I had bought a pearl on my last trip and didn't like any of the settings at that time. I found a basic one that I liked and waited to have that done. Mickey begged for all kinds of things, including a pearl. Did she really want one? I don't know. Would she wear it? Probably not. Would she lose it? Probably! Sorry no pearl for Mickey (I know-worlds worst mother). While walking to Japan we got to hear and see a little of the Beach Boys. Way cool! Mickey liked them too and we got a few OK pictures. We had fries and some drinks at the American pavillion and listened to them. Called home to brag! :goodvibes Walked back around to do SSE and then got ready to see Illuminations. Happened to be at the right place and time, to get a perfect front seat at the world showcase area. Awsome view from here. We usually are at the Mexico area, I have to remember to try and get a view from here next time too. Great show and Mickey and I weren't fighting. I bought her a big fat lolli pop so all was well in her world I guess. PIXIE DUST = Mickey is happy!! Headed out with the crowd back to Pop and picked up my tickets to MNSSHP at the front desk. Not so bad of a day.

Love my WDW, love my Mickey!! pixiedust:

Day 3

Got up at 8 to try to make it to Blizzard Beach by opening. Went to the food court to have a full breakfast. Got coffee, choc milk, fruit, turnover and a breakfast platter to share. We didn't really like the potatoes. Took leftover milk and fruit back to the room fridge and drove to BB. Arrived at 10:05 and had a nice walk in. Headed to the lockers and found some lounges. Did rides for a few hours. When we got off the family raft ride some CMs were giving away pins with lanyards for the year of a million dreams. They presented them to us as if we had won an Academy Award! Don't get me wrong we really loved our freebies but it was just cute how they were a little OT!! I'd like to thank the academy and all the little people who I just couldn't have gotten here without, and most of all I'd like to thank..........yadda, yadda, yadda!!

Back to BB.......we enjoyed a trip around the lazy river. Then spent too long looking for our lounges. Didn't know I could get that lost here? Oh, well Mickey found them for us. Headed to Lotta Watta place for lunch. Food was Ok but maybe a bit pricey for chicken strips, fish and fries. We then took the chair lift up to the top to do the family raft ride again. I went back to the lazy river and Mickey did a few more rides by herself. Side note here: that double dipper threw me for a loop.....I thought it was just a little floaty ride. Let's just say it's 6 seconds of my life I'll never get back. I don't think I touched down but twice!! Holy Cow!! Straight down! Also I don't think I exited or entered "gracefully" once getting out of and into any of those raft rides. So embarrassing at my age I guess. Just make sure everything stays covered and keep moving.

After 4 hours we are ready to head out. We needed to shower and relax before our "all nighter" at MNSSHP!

Arrived at the MK around 4 p.m. and walked straight to SM!! A couple handed us fast passes they weren't using and then I asked a CM if we could use our halloween party tickets to get fast passes. I didn't know you couldn't, (not during the party at all)but for some reason he had some in his hand and asked how many of us there was. So now with 4 FF and we happily hit SM twice. We, Ok maybe just "I" enjoyed C of P and then TTA.

From here we headed to Fantasyland smiling at all the cute kids in costumes. We got a sandwich at the Pinnochios Village house. We really tried to like it but it didn't taste like ANYTHING! Even the bacon on the turkey pannini was tasteless. Oh well,we also ordered a milkshake (good) and water to share. I don't know why but they gave us 2 big sprites. We didn't really enjoy the food here but LOVED the inside of this restaurant. I have no idea why I have never been here. So CUTE! And we got to wave at the happy trick or treaters riding IASW!!

This took us to ride IASW, the CMs here were in a really good mood and we waved to everyone like we were important.

Walked over to BTM and SM. Decided we didn't want to walk around wet all night so we just went on BTM several times. Did some trick or treating and enjoyed Pirates. I'm not getting this whole Johnny Depp thing. Isn't he as old as I am and wasn't he once on 21 Jump Street that, really who remembers that? Not me! And now he's HOT again? OK so he did grow older very gracefully, OK he's drop dead gorgeous.......but is that any reason all these little girls are all ga ga over him now? Ok maybe so...............off my Johnny Depp soap box. OK even the whole POTC thing......they just stuck his likeness in there 3 times and wa la, you have a whole new ride? I don't think so. I'm not getting it? Back to trick or treating...........

Now we wait for the parade to start. I am only here for the candy, to let my DD do rides and to see the headless horseman. It is drizzling and NO headless horseman. Well that was expensive candy!! Just kidding we still had lots of fun. Loved the parade and especially the grave diggers dance. How cool were they?

Did a few more rides on BTM and candy begging, I mean trick or treating.

Side note here: Mickey wouldn't really wear a costume so the best I could do was matching t-shirts. They were black with a candy dispenser on them. Everyone asked for candy from us!!

Bought some coke and carmel popcorn to snack on. My mistake Mickey said popcorn not carmel popcorn. Bad, bad mother. Sat and ate candy and NOT correct kind of popcorn! Nothing like a kid to keep reminding you you're NOT PERFECT! Back to the 2nd parade. The headless horseman RIDES!! I don't know why this was so impressive.....it just WAS MAN! Loved it and got a fairly bad picture but who cares, I thought it was GREAT!

Mickey did BTM again and I hadn't seen Country Bears for years. UG! Bring back the good old songs. These really stank! Sorry I didn't care for it and it was just painfull sitting through this! EEKS!

We saw the fireworks from back in toontown! Rode the Barn Stormer and wondered around. Maybe not the best place to view the fireworks show but still liked them. Mickey wanted to get going back to SM and was getting crabby (er).

Mickey rode SM alone while I trick or treated and just plopped. A CM came over and chatted with me for a few minutes. It was now midnight and I was fast turning into a pumpkin!!

With our candy bags full we headed out and fell into bed around 1 am!!

Love my Magic Kingdom, love my Mickey!

Day 4

Today we slowed things down and because we were up late we also stayed in bed late. Time to take a drive to go shopping. I had never been to the Prime Outlets so I wanted to see if I could find any great deals there. It was an easy drive and not hard to find at all. Managed to spend about $100! It's so easy spending that on Disney stuff isn't it? Then we went up to Belz. I've gone here many times. I was disappointed to see the one building totally gone. It sort of looked desolate, but the other building was still there. I didn't find too much here this time which was fine after dropping as much at the other outlet store.

By now it was closer to lunch and we were HUNGRY! I had 2 of those Movie and Meal coupons from Universal and decided we needed to have lunch at Margaritteville! If this disturbs you too much that we left WDW property scroll down just a bit. Anyway lunch was great. Mickey had burger/fries and I enjoyed the chicken/garlic/pasta/broccoli dish. We then went to see "Open Season", which we thought was good. Let me just mention, I don't know how all those shops and restaurants stay open. Universal was a GHOST TOWN. Almost scary.

Drove back down to WDW property and found a Winn Dixie to pick up some fruit, cheese cake and snacks for our room.

Hung out at our resort for a while and then decided to take a ride around the monorail loops. Better than spending a few hours watching TV, which is what Mickey wanted to do. So we headed to the DTD and then caught the bus to the CR. We requested to sit up front with the driver Rod. He was super nice and we chatted about how we frittered away our day on vacation. He let Mickey drive. She wasn't overly impressed because she pretty much knew it kind of drives itself.

I think we shopped a bit at DTD and then headed back to the resort to get ready for our next day at MGM.

Sorry it seems like a boring day but it was our vacation and we need those days too. Thanks for reading.

Love my cheese cake, love my Mickey!

Day 5

Got to MGM today a little before opening. We enjoyed the Hollywood style opening-cute! I had never done T of T so today was the day! It was fun but a little much. I'm not a fan of "straight down" so once was good. We got FP's for RRC then got in line. Did that a few times and enjoyed that. Headed to the other side of the park to do Muppets and Star Tours. I still haven't found the Welcome mat at Muppets. Where exactly is it? Stayed around this area to wait for our early lunch reservation at the Sci Fi. We had a very nice waiter and he had no problem letting both of us get the kids burgers with fries. These came with drinks (coke and lemonade) and we also ordered a side of onion rings. The service was great with refills on drinks and didn't have to wait for anything. We were also the first table to be seated and we both loved the short TV clips from the past-CLASSICS! Yummy and fun! PIXIE DUST = Mickey is happy!!

We then did the GMR because it was close. After this Mickey hit TOT alone and I wanted to see Little Mermaid. Well that was not going on during the parade, because she was IN the parade! OK got it, WINK WINK! So I went through One Man's Dream. We met up and walked over to the Stunt Show. We enjoyed this but it was HOT! I asked for alot of free ice water this day, which was given without any problem at all. I went shopping while Mickey did TOT again. We shopped all the way out towards the park exit to stay in the air conditioning, which was a nice break. We headed back to Pop to take a break for a few hours.

AK was having Extra Magic hours for the evening so we drove there. We headed straight for EE. I think this ride is very well done, except I'm not a big fan of that big dip that is straight down, but I still loved it. Did this a few more times. Went to see a Bug's Life, Dinosaur and Hurla Whirl (is that the right name?). Went back to do EE again and Mickey rode a few times without me. I had fun watching from the exit-great view. It was getting to be almost closing so we headed to Kali River Rapids. We didn't mind getting soaked because the day was over. We stayed on twice without getting off and laughed at each other getting so wet. We sloshed our way to the exit and took the tram to our parking space. I haven't taken the parking tram for years. It was kind of fun. Drove back to Pop and called it a night.

Loved EE, love my Mickey!

Thanks for sharing! What a great trip just for the two of you. I am already scared for those teen years- DD is only 3 but very high maintenance, she always has been, It isnt easy after having a boy that just goes with the flow on everything!

Looking forward to more.

Side notes:

I have to say I don't mind driving in FL at all. I think they do a great job marking the roads with signs and I thought it was fairly easy driving. Just an encouragement to those who are leary of doing there own driving. It's a piece of cake.

I am still loving my daughter at this point. Sort of. A vacation to WDW in itself can be exhausting and add a daughter that is only partially cooperative......yeah I got tired! But I carry on......

Day 6

We left WDW property again for the day. We drove down to Siesta Key Beach. :sunny: It takes a good 2 hours drive, but we thought it was worth it. We left at around 9:30 and stopped for an early lunch at Chik-Fa-la. We don't have them in MN and we wanted to try it. Mickey loved her chicken sandwich and waffle type fries, and I thought my big salad with chicken strips was very good too. Not really that different than McDonalds salads. We were ready to hit the beach. Didn't have any problem finding a public beach and Mickey instantly fell in love. BIG PIXIE DUST = Mickey is happy!!!!! :sunny: We spent a happy 4 hours getting fried, sipping lemonade, picking shells, watching parasailers and we even found a dead blow fish. You don't see that every day in MN (OK NO day do you see that in MN), so this was all exciting. We wanted to die happy here, but .......... :beach:

We got back around 6 pm to Pop and I decided I didn't want to spend all night watching TV so we went to DTD and Planet Hollywood for a nice big dinner. I had a free meal coupon from my room package I wanted to use. Mickey had another burger/fries (a shock I know  )!! I had the appetizer of giant nachos. Very good and just filling enough. We really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Kind of noisy, but the music videos we heard were fun. The waitress was a bit snooty but that never bothers me. Nice inexpensive meal, and that DD was happy = PIXIE DUST!

Left here to shop at RFC, Mickey Mart and Goofy's Candy Factory, where I bought several large pastries for the room. They were about half the price as the food court or in the parks and HUGE! This is a tip I read here on the DIS. I didn't go out of my way for these, but just ran into them and remembered to look! They were all very good. I think I got a choc choc chip muffin, apple danish and a cinnamon roll.

Back to the hotel to call it a day and groan with pain from the sun burns. We laughed and thought: this will be worth it once the shear agony goes away!! I know stupid MN northerners!!

Love my FL sunshine! :sunny: :sunny: Love my Mickey!!

:beach: Nothing like a good beach trip!!! (Sorry about the sunburn, but I bet the tan afterwards was worth it!)

I am really wishing I had done a girls-only trip with my daughters when they were younger. I now get to look forward to a trip that DH & I can take with our grandson. (It'll be awhile, he's only 8 months old!)

Waiting semi-patiently for more!!! :Pinkbounc

Day 7

We started our day off at MK. Wanted to get there for the opening, but were there a few minutes after 9. Headed right for SM. Rode that twice before a line started to build. Got a FP and walked around towards Fantasyland and got another FP for PP. Some time must have elapsed here. Maybe we did Mickey's Philharmagic in here. Kept walking and passed CHH and decided to have an early lunch. Mickey had fish and chips and I had the tuna sandwich, which was fresh and made with substantial whole wheat bread. Very good, the fish wasn't as great as I was hoping.

Mickey headed to BTM again and I wanted to go see the Hall of Presidents. Met back up and returned back to PP then made our way out. On our way out we stopped by the Tink shop to see if she was in her drawer. I asked a CM but she said she wasn't working. I'll have to try this again on my next trip to solve this mystery. It was hot and we felt deflated, so we really needed a resort break.

A little refreshed we headed to MGM to do more RNR and TOT. We stopped to watch a comedy routine on the way in. They were not giving out anymore FP's for RNR so Mickey took several more turns on the TOT. We watched Little Mermaid together then Mickey went on more TOT rides! (Can't she ever get enough or sick?!) I went through the animators studio which I was very disappointed in. It thought it was more hands on. I also did GMR again. We met up and bought a turkey leg and popcorn on the way in to see Fantasmic. I liked the turkey way more than I thought, but it was hard to eat, especially on a bench in the dark. But good, smokey and flavourful. We enjoyed the show and even Mickey commented on that it could scare the living daylights out of small children because of the noise and scary villians. But Mickey Mouse and good over evil won out in the end again. We both enjoyed the show.

From here we herded out with everyone else and..........I hope no one will flame me for this but......I put Mickey on a bus back to Pop by herself. I figured she could handle it, so I put her to the test. I wanted to do a few things more at Epcot, because it was extra magic hours, and Mickey was NOT a fan of Epcot at all. I have to say this extra-ness for NOT worth it. It felt like a ghost town because all the shops and restaurants were closed. I went to see Turtle talk at the Living Seas. As cute as it was, I didn't realize that it was quite pre-school. Oh, well, thank goodness Mickey wasn't with me. I would have NEVER heard the end of that horror!! And the Nemo clam ride was down! I also tried to do Soaring again but the line was out the door. So I went to go see the Canada show because I love the song and I had to support my home country. I also did El Rio Tempo boat ride in Mexico again. I ended the night with a quick ride around TT and headed out.

Hoping and praying Mickey was all right, I rode back to Pop. I found her sleeping with the TV on. ;) She actually looked sweet sleeping so I placed a kiss goodnight on her forehead and as it was almost midnight plopped into bed myself.

Love my sleeping Mickey!

Day 8

This is the day that I did 2 things I wanted to do before I died!! Sounds serious I know..........one is Disney related the other is not. Drum roll.......they are:

1. PARASAILING!

We slept late this morning and drove to the CR to sign up. I had not made reservations. Signed in at about 10 am and my time was set for 11:30. We hung around the lake for a while. Then it got too hot and we went in to the lobby to watch Disney clips on TV. The AC was nice. Let me just say I was so ready for this. Mickey and I went tandom, which was a little less costly I guess. It's pricey fun but afterward thought it was worth EVERY PENNY!! The professionals do all the work, tell you where to stand and what to do. Then it was click, click and up we went. It was so quiet up there so the 10 scant minutes seamed longer because there are no distractions. Just calm and lovely! We had a BLAST!! I would definetely recommend this to anyone thinking about doing it. The second part of this fun was watching the other lady who went up and we got to sit back and enjoy the boat ride. Did I mention how much FUN it was? We were grinning from ear to ear! :Pinkbounc LOVED this! MAJOR PIXIE DUST = MICKEY'S HAPPY!!

When we were done with this we left WDW property to find a CiCi's for lunch. By now we were famished and almost dehyrated. Drove along #192 and spotted our target. We both enjoyed this very much and I thought it was really cheap. We both loved a pizza that was particularly garlicy. All was good and we left full and happy.

We always have a tradition of going to SHELL WORLD on #192. I don't know why but when a tradition becomes a tradition that's what you do. We bought a bunch of jewelry and shells for Mickey's friends and took the prerequesite (?) photos.

Headed back to Pop and dropped off Mickey. I then headed back to the Premium Outlets just out of curiosity. I think I bought some t-shirts for DS-15. He had requested POTC t-shirts and stuff, so that's what we bought. This was a quick trip and was back at Pop shortly.

Here is my other "to do before I die" goal!

2. HOOP DE DOO REVUE

I know it's just a dinner theatre but I have been wanting to do this FOREVER! I guess I couldn't ever justify the cost with my family of 5. So with just the 2 of us it was a great plan.

By this point in our trip I think Mickey was getting homesick/tired and missed having any siblings to fight with. So she thought this was going to be LAME!! What's a mother to do? It was pre-paid so you WILL go and you WILL enjoy it!! We waited out in the HEAT for almost an hour. I hadn't embarrassed Mickey yet with any H-Birthday songs, pins or good wishes, so now it was time. A nice CM bellered it out for all to hear that Miss Mickey was now all of 13 and needed some specialness. Mickey was indeed mortified and promised revenge on her aging mumsy!! Tough babe! I got her good. That's a mothers job don't you know!!

We LOVED the show and there was more wonderful food than we could eat. It was so much fun laughing with our dining neighbors!! We sat right up front on the side. Couldn't have asked for anything more. ALL was funny and the food was great. Even Mickey laughed her little heart out. She is artistic by nature and has a great sense of theatrics. Being the smart mum that I am, that's one of the reasons I booked this dinner. I KNEW she'd love it and I was right.

Now comes the only brief time on this trip that I displayed a not so magic moment from a CM. It was a bus driver that was parked at a sign that said "to wilderness lodge" and his bus said "orange post" (or something like that). FW and WL have confusing bus routes so here is another good example!! So I asked him if this was the right bus to get us to WL. The sign said so. He said "does it LOOK like it says WL"???!!! EEKS. OK, no need to bite our heads off. I cringed off the bus like the hunchback of notre dame and a few others rolled there eyes at the driver. When we did get on the right bus the driver was perfectly nice. A bad one in every bunch I guess.

From here we headed to DTD to buy more stuff we didn't need, like giant lolli-pops for friends and a character pillow for Mickey. We also bought Gherardelli choolate for DS-15. The other sister Rene' 9 asked for Minnie cuties stuff and Tinker Bell stuff. Among some t-shirts and sweatshirts I found a very cute Minnie cutie plush toy with a basket with Figaro her cat!! Very cute and DD-9 loved it. I also bought DH some ties and we were "good to go" on the souviner end.

Got back to Pop at around 9:30 and called it another wonderful day!!

Loved being able to now die happy because I went parasailing and finally made it to HDDR!!!! Loved my Mickey!!

Day 9

We headed to Typhoon Lagoon today. I wanted to get there by opening (10 am), so I went to get breakfast and brought it back to the room. I just got a kids Mickey waffles and bacon meal. They substituted an extra waffle for the apple sauce which I knew neither of us would eat. The food court was very obliging to all my requests. No complaints at all.

We got to TL in plenty of time for opening. I wanted to get there early so we could get right onto the crush and gusher rides. These were awsome rides and Mickey said she never heard me squeel quite like that before. I guess the ride threw me for a loop (litterally)! Too fun! We did rides and enjoyed the wave pool for 3-4 hours. I had planned to spend the whole day here but again I think Mickey was hot/tired/homesick/whiney!

We went back to Pop to start the inevitable! PACKING! :( :(

We had lunch in the food court. I had the parmesan penne pasta kids size dish which was great! And (another shock I know) Mickey had another cheese burger and fries.

We spent the afternoon meandering the resort taking pictures and found the cool life size twister game/shopping at the gift shop/ and making pressed pennies! Did I mention it was HOT? Just staying in AC felt SOOOOO good!!

More packing!! :( :(

I didn't think we'd have time this trip to go to one of our favourite spots. But we DID! BEACHES AND CREAM!! We decided it was time to head there for dinner. We had (another horrible shock) more BURGERS and FRIES!! We also ordered a side of OR which were very good. With coke and water for drinks and Mickey asked for extra pickles we got stuffed. Mickey is not a sweets eater so on a sad note we had NO ICE CREAM!! :( Actually we had no room anyway! Mickey pointed out a cute elderly couple behind us at a table sharing a sundae! How cute were they? ;)

I wanted to take a boat ride to Epcot just for the fun of it. Mickey didn't want to but she didn't dare complain because I was the one who had to ask for extra pickles with her dinner!! So there! This was our last night so Mickey knew I was meloncholly (sp-?). Sigh!

Drove back to Pop.

Love Beaches and Cream, traditions and my Mickey!!

Day 10

I hate "last" days! But we've had fun and we are thankful we got to enjoy this trip together.

We packed up that fridge for the fridge swap and brought it to the front desk. Also used the cart for our luggage. We ended up eating grapes and crumb cake for breakfast in the kiddy lounge by the lobby/front desk area. Mickey didn't know it was there and was impressed by the cuteness. PIXIE DUST = Mickey happy! Guess I should have left her there all week. Just kidding!

I ended up finding a refillable mug (brand new) in the trash here. I don't normally go through the trash can, but happened to notice it in an empty trash can as I threw out my breakfast containers. I'll take a free souviner home, I'm not too proud.

We had extra time before our flight so we walked through the food court and gift shop one last time. Now this is just cruel irony-I notice the bakery shop off to the side with gourmet desserts like CHEESE CAKE! You have got to be kidding me - I've never noticed it there! Oh, well. We had no extra room for any perishables either. Something to look forward to on our next trip I guess!!

We stopped at the Premium Outlets again because we had plenty of time to kill and bought yet more stuff we didn't need.

To the airport with no problems except I must have taken a back road because it looked completely different than on the way to Pop? But the signs kept saying Orlando International so I did make it there.

Looked into the Earport shop at a sweatshirt that I wanted ($50!!!!!). Next time!

Barely made all of our connections, but glad to be picked up by DH. Made it home by about midnight. Mickey slept all the way home.

Love my family! Still love my Mickey (but thank goodness the school bus is coming for her in the morning)!! :sunny:

Thanks for reading! Kisses!
