just met an old friend for the first time

the internet is a strange and wonderful place, isn't it? I've been on line friends with Shlomit for 4 years now, have spoken to her several times on the phone, but we never met face to face until today. she's in NY visiting friends and family, and is supposed to fly back to Tel Aviv tomorrow --- unless we get the blizzard we're expecting. so my kids and I went out for coffee with Shlomit and her kids, and it felt like we'd known each other forever.

Sounds like you had a very nice time. So - was it easy to talk in person after communicating online for all of these years?
