We are doing a Land/Sea package. It is completely paid for. Am I correct in assuming that when we check in at AKL we will be given a "key" that will serve as a "charge card" for the trip as well as a key to our AKL room and our stateroom?

Also, will I have the choice of whipping out my credit card to pay for meals, souvenirs etc. RATHER THAN using my "room key"?

Does that make sense? :confused3

Yes, you get a card good for everyting from checkin to the end of the trip. this includes park admission. You will get a card for every member of your party. Yes, You can whip out cash, cc etc to pay for meals etc.

I never understood why Disney does not include the food on the Land portion of the Land/Sea package....you get 7 days worth of meals on board if you are on the 7 day...you would think they would include meals on the land portion of a 7 day land/sea trip.

Even if it was just for a set amount per person, per day...they could give you a voucher for a certain amount and then if you choose to spend over that, it would come out of your own pocket.

i agree!! It was sorta a pain to figuire out the cash to bring since we didn't want to charge anything!
