We are going down next year - my God - a whole year to wait!!!

But I'm heretatellya, just making the reservations makes ya feel so good.

If everything works out as planned next June, I will be in Orlando for the Microsoft TechEd 2008 conference (just got back from the 2007 conference last Friday) from June 8 to June 13. I will fly home to PA on June 13 in the evening, pack up the motorhome and hit the road for the Fort on June 14. Arrive June 16 and check out June 27.

lol, nah, never attended. I've been a C++ software engineer for about 10 years now, only been doing C# the last two years where I work.

TechEd was supposed to be in New Orleans this year, but the convention center couldn't be made ready in time to support the 13,000 geeks attending. So, they moved it to the Orange Count Convention Center in Orlando. Next year is definitely in Orlando and the following year may be in Orlando as well.

When I made ours in February 07 for January 08, I thought it would be forever away. But heck, next month, the Disney website will actually have January on the calendar so we can see what rides will be closed for refurbishment.

BUT, this coming trip starts our annual passes and we are planning a Jan.08, Dec.08 and Jan09. I'm a landscaper so summer trips are all but impossible. We've never done annual passes so everyone's pumped.
