This will only be our second trip to WDW, were usually DLR goers. My wife and I went alone to WDW in 2009 and really enjoyed it, but we do enjoy Disneyland more. One of my sons is going to go with us this time around and that is the main reason we are headed back to WDW. We know that if we didn't take him to WDW he would never go check it out for himself, he would just go back to DLR, and it is worth going and checking out. It just takes so much more time to see WDW than DLR, and a lot more planning is also involved. My wife and I both say that going to WDW is like going on a vacation, but going to DLR is magical.
DLR is only a 6 hour drive for us, so it makes for an easy getaway. We totally get our money's worth out of our premium passes.
If we fly all the way to Florida we will make it a significant trip and tour some other places on the east coast also. I just don't know if I want to give up my DL passes. Maybe I can talk my husband into Premier Passes.
