Just have to share. I just made my final payment. I thought this day would never come. I did have to ask for extension. Thank you Disney.. Counting down from 38 days.

We are a family of 6 going to be staying at POR with Free dining and 7 days ticket to Disney. DH, me, DB14, Dd7,DD3, and DS2. We are flying red eye from Seattle on the Sept 21st and wont be there until 22nd at 10 AM. We are going to rent a car for a week. Hoping to have time for Sea World, Universal Studios, and make it out to Daytona Beach. Beach in Seattle are not real beach. It full of rock and seaweed.

Here my ADR please let me know your thoughts-
Sept 22 Since we are flying in red-eye, Should I even have ADR for this date? Should I even hit any park on this day at all? Maybe drive to the Beach?

Sept 23- 11:45 HollyWood and Vine Fanstamic Package

Sept 24

Sept 25 - 7:00 PM @ Shula's Steakhouse or Cape May Cafe?????

Sept 26 - 8:05 AM @ Akershus
3:15 PM @ Coral Reef - should we keep this or cancel Via Napoli? We have it for dinner. Should we be hungry by 7:00 PM?
7:00 PM @ Via Napoli -

Sept 27- 11:35 AM @ Crystal Palace
8:25 PM @ CRT - This is a must for both of my princesses.

Sept 28- 6:40 PM @ 1900 Park Fare - Since we will have a car, how long should we leave Sea World/Universal to make it here on time?

Sept 29- Nothing plan here yet

Sept 30- We have nothing here since we are going to flying home at 7:30PM. Probably leave

I do have Yak and Yeti ADR for 22nd and the 24th, but havent decide which day to go yet. Thank you

7:00 PM @ Via Napoli - I would cancel Coral Reef. 3:15 is late, I can't imagine you would be hungry for dinner.

:) Is this your first Disney trip? The reason I ask is that folks who are first timers do not understand how trully big the WDW resort is....it is the size of Manhattan. I am just worried that your trying to get to US, Daytona, Sea World and do Disney in 7 days is not realistic. Not that you cannot go for it. I think Disney will be so overwhelming that the kids may just need down time at the pool. I would save your money on Sept 22. It will take you approx 30 minutes to get to Disney once you have the car. Then another 30 minutes to check in. So know it is around 11:30. I would go over to PORS and grab lunch, then head to the pool. Then after the pool say around 5 I would head for DTD and get a bite there.

Do you have park hoppers? If not I would use the restaurants to gage your park day.

I don't know the if the best advice I can give will make you happy? Keep your vacation to Disney and the beach...you will actually be able to have and enjoy your vacation then. I promise I am telling you this with the best intentions. If you use Disney transportation, save that money and just rent a car at one the rental places for the day at the beach.

Yes this will be my first trip to Disney as a family. :laughing:I been to Disney before when I was 13 and 15 when I use to live in FL. I been to both Sea World and US. My original thought was it can be done one day one park. Then again, when I did went to those park, I didnt have kids. :rotfl: I do understand your concern with my planning for it being so overwhelming for the kids. That why I posted it on here to seek advice. I know I might seem to be jumping all over the place. I probably did plan with how I do things when I'm also at home. GO GO GO.

The thing with US/IOA is that my DD7 is a huge fan of Harry Potter and she have been asking about it even before it open. Sea World all my kids like fishes since they have Nemo. I thought it would be cool to take them see the big whale, sea turtle, and ect.

Unfortunately, I didnt do park hopper because when i wason disboards advise it would be a waste of money since I probably wont park hop with kids.

My flight get in MCO at 9:20 AM

Sept 24 and Sept 29, I have no plan yet it either Sea World or US/IOA Since both park close at 6.

I do understand Shula is not on the dining plan. DH want to try the steak there. We will be paying OOP for this.

:) Then I would spend a day for Harry Potter on one of the of days you have....then rest I would just have to see how the kids did. If no one said anything about the beach I would nix it. Sea World is I sure very cool...but I am sure Seattle has an awesome aquarium. It is just so much in so little time. I think you are setting yourself up for failure. I would do HP at the end of the trip so you are not moving around so much. Rent a car those last two days and then turn it in and take DME from the airport to the resort and back again to save that money.

When you factor in getting to the park, through the gate, a couple of rides, a show, lunch, a couple of rides, a show, "Mommy I am tired, can you carry me?", "I want to go swimming!", back for dinner, then the evening firework spectacular for that park....you have to be bionic. So I would do HP on 9/29 and the beach 9/24, if I had to.

I wish you a terrific vacation and I hate to say that you may be a Disney addict when you return home. Much of the time Disney is a once in a lifetime trip and I can understnad trying to do as much as possible. Good Luck!!

:rotfl2:I think I'm a Disney addict already before going there. All I ever talked about for the past 5 months is Disney. Everyone is sick of it already. I'm already planning Some sort of Disney trip every 3 years or so.

The reason I have the car for the whole week is because there only $20 different between renting it for 3 days vs one week. It also cheaper renting it from MCO vs Car Care Center. I rather have it at my disposable just in case something were to happen or if I need to run to the grocery store or pharmacy.

I do really appreciate your input. Thank you.

:thumbsup2 Well it sounds and looks like a great plan...have a terrific time...I have to be careful and not talk in DIS code at home....

Well for the 1st day I am assuming you might need a nap, or some sleep but I would definitely schedule a dinner. Maybe something character to set the mood?

On the days that you will be visiting other parks maybe schedule dinners at resort restaurants. If you are driving then you can go directly to the restaurant. We like Ohana, Sanaa, WCC. Or maybe something at DTD.

Congrats on making the final payment. For the first day, I wouldn't drive around or go to the beach...go to a Disney park and then go to your resort when its ready for a nice nap. Traveling with kids is so different (believe me...I learned from our first Disney trip with our son). You don't want a run down kids from the beginning of the trip. I would just pick Sea World or Universal. You have 2 young kids and its alot to take in for a first Disney trip.
I would drop Sea World (I know you said your kids loves sea life...my son loves it too but we took him to Sea World after his 4th Disney trip) and use that money to add park hopper. There is so much to see and do in each park and you want your kids to enjoy instead of rushing to 4 Disney parks, beach, Sea World and Universal. We are taking our son to his 5th Disney trip (we usually go for 8 days) and we still don't have the time to go to Universal but this trip he wants to go to Sea World again. If you don't get to do it this trip...its another reason to book more trips. That's what I tell my husband.
Enjoy and have a magical time.

Sept 26 - 8:05 AM @ Akershus
3:15 PM @ Coral Reef - should we keep this or cancel Via Napoli? We have it for dinner. Should we be hungry by 7:00 PM?
7:00 PM @ Via Napoli - If you end up keeping this, I'll see you there ;) (same day, same time Reservations for my trip)
I do agree with dropping lunch here. The approx. 3hr timeframe between end of lunch and beginning of dinner is a bit tight for the typical TS meals offered. Plus, it's going to be hot and that draws the appetite down a bit as well. Good breakfast, quick lunch, then good dinner should work well.

As far as the other plans, I'd say keep US and play it by ear on Sea World and Daytona. One park per day could work, but you're either going to have to go at a pretty quick pace, or realize that you'll miss quite a bit. Both do work though, and many people do it :).

As an added bit of knowledge, per day costs for Disney tickets beyond the first 4 is only about $3 per day per ticket. So, if you decide you'd like to stay at Disney, adding a day won't be a bunch of extra money.

Thank you for your reply. I do have a base 7 day ticket without park hopper. :rotfl: I'm still looking for discount US ticket.
