yep the last time I went camping at the Fort my oldest daughter was 4; she's now 25! EEK! This time I will be camping w/ my 15 yo, 8 yo and 7 yo. Tent camping - yep I can so see the 15 yo bailing ;)

My big question (i'm sure I'll have more as the time gets closer) - since we are tent camping any suggestions on what loop I should "try" to get? I don't need to be close to the pool, or the trading posts, just would prefer a much shaded site w/o a lot of traffic. Like I said its been quite a few years since I've been Fort camping even tho we have been day guests attending HDDR, etc.

We'll be arriving Memorial Day w/e if that makes any difference ;) Should I contact Central Res or the campground directly to make site requests?

Well, Welcome home to you! :wizard:

Don't tent camp myself, so I can't advise as to what loop is best to request, but I'm sure there will be someone along shortly who can help you.

I do kmow that your request will be noted on your reservation. I believe there is a fax number you can send your request to just prior to check in.

The 1500 loop is very shady..and directly across from pool. A partial, you should have plenty of tent neighbors.
