I set my alarm for 6:45 this morning... aghh on a Saturday to boot!!!

Grabbed our two cell phones and started calling at 6:55am.

Got through on both phones at 7:00 on the dot. I was on hold for apx 4 minutes.

Gave my reservation# but I didn't have to confirm any information from it.

Asked for CRT breakfast first for Dec 8, didn't get it. I will try back on the 90 day mark.

Here is what I did get:

Friday, day of arrival:
Whispering Canyon 6:30 PM for 8

Sunday, MGM day:
SciFi 12:30 PM for 8

Monday, MK day. DS 5th Birthday:
Crystal Palace 8:05 AM for 6
Liberty Tree Tavern 5:45 AM for 8

Tuesday, MVMCP:
Ohana's 8:30 AM for 8
California Grill 7:20 AM (just DH and I)

Wednesday, Epcot:
Wanted Le Cellier for 6 at apx 7, only had 5:40 or 840 available!
Then went for Gareden Grill for 6, only had 5:30 available!
I didn't book either

Thursday, MK day:
Cindy's Castle didn't get.
Concourse Steakhouse 6:10 AM for 8

Friday, checkout day:
Chef Mickey's 11:10 AM for 8

I am very happy with being able to get just about everything we wanted, even almost the exact times!

I expected not to get Cindy's.. this is my 3rd year trying and still nothing. I will call back at the exact 90 day mark.

I am disappointed not to get Le Cellier or the Garden Grill! I wouldn't have expected them to have so much blocked out or filled up.

I will call back for them as we get closer and when the official hours are released.

It's really starting to feel close now!! :cheer2:

I have to call for my ADRs in a few days. :)

I have a question regarding your Crystal Palace ADR. What time does the park open that day? Is it an early morning day? Or does the park open at 9am. I'm wondering, because I would love to get an early ADR for Crystal Palace and then be done eating and ready for the parks by the time MK opens. Also, do you know what time would be the latest for ADR's at CP in order to be done eating and out of there by the 9am opening time at MK?

Mary

I called at less than 80 days and got everything I wanted, including Le Cellier for dinner, CP for lunch, Ohana for dinner, Prime Time for lunch with absolutely no problem for "Jersey Week". I just see this sense of panic on this board and yet others say oh, I called 10 days out and got CRT. The real problem here is everyone calls 90+10 days out and again at 90 days and make multiple reservations, then plan their trip when the park hours come out, so they call back and change and cancel ADR's which frees up availability. So, the real issue here, like gas, is hoarding. I'd love to find out how many people end up cancelling at least one ADR between making them and a few weeks of their trips. I won't be calling back and changing mine because they're based on park crowds, not hours, but I'd be willing to bet on the day that hours come out, there is a massive shifting around of ADR's in the system. Oh, and I called at 9 am and got through immediately after punching my way through, "no I don't want CRT".

I made my ADR yesterday and got everything I wanted except CRT.....

Here is mine:
12/1 dinner Chef Mickey's
12/2 breakfast Donald's Breakfastosaurus
12/2 dinner Whispering Canyon Cafe
12/3 lunch 50's Prime Time Cafe
12/3 dinner Raiforest Cafe (haven't made reservation yet)
12/4 either breakfast or lunch CRT (couldn't get need to try at 90 days)
12/5 dinner Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Package
12/6 breakfast Princess Storybook Meal @ Norway
12/7 breakfast CRT (try to get if don't get 12/4)

ME&MIC--We're goint to be at Mama Melrose at the same time!!!

I'm glad you all got most of the ADRs you wanted.
We weren't able to get CRT for the character meal either but opted to do CRT for dinner and 1900 Park Faire for Cinderella rather than continuing the stress of trying to get it.

BDCP--I see what you are saying but that isn't the case with us--we are set in our itinerary and will not be changing anything. I planned so long and wanted everything set in stone as soon as I could get it...now I can spend the rest of time before our trip relieved to know I have everything set and don't need to stress about anything:) The release of park hours and EMHs will not impact our itinerary.

Becca Grace - Very Cool!
I'm so excited today...it feels so real now that my plans are in place!

I tried for CRT Breakfast on 11/30 when I called for my 90+10 ADRs. As was the case with those of you trying for CRT Breakfast, it was not available. So, I made my other ADRs and called back at 90 days for the Breakfast. Success! CRT Breakfast on 11/30 at 8:10 for 4! So, definitely don't be discouraged. Good luck to all! princess:

They haven't released the MK park hours yet, but it will probably be opening at 9am (non EE day)

The earliest they give ressies is 8:05. I figure that since it's buffet we will be done within 45 minutes. Then we hope to make it to Cindy's castle for the rope drop by 9.

Good Luck!

Looks like we're going to be there on the same night!

Please excuse me if these questions are obvious but this is my 1st trip to WDW.

1. What is an ADR? I thought they were called PS (Priority Seating)
2. What is CRT?
3. Is Crystal Palace same as Cinderella's Castle?
4. When do the official hours get released?

I feel like I am way behind in my planning. Our 90 day mark is tomorrow and don't know what I want besides Breakfast at Cinderella's Castle

Answers:
1. Yes, an ADR is an Advanced Dining Reservation which is the new name for a PS.
2. CRT is Cinderella's Royal Table served at the Castle
3. No, Crystal Palace is a buffet that features Pooh and pals and is not the same as CRT.
4. Roughly 60 days ahead of time which of course makes making ADR's 90 days in advanced a big adventure.

My best suggestion on planning is to visitAllEarsNet because Deb's site is just awesome. While I love the homepage for the Dis, it's still not as useful to me as Deb's site is. Have fun! Maggie

Thanks for letting us know! I can't call until Wednesday to make my ADR's (I don't move on site until 12/6). I think the only one we want that may be a problem will be LeCellier on 12/6 (Tuesday.)

Thanks again! :flower:

Well I just called for our adr's. I must admit my heart just wasnt in it right now but I knew I better start making some of there will be nothing left. I got the places but not the times I wanted. We have never been there at this time of year and I am doing hit or miss with the park hours and also trying to watch the budget. We got
11-27 Hollywood and Vine at 5:20, so I guess we will miss when they turn on the Osborne Lights?
12 -1 Crystal Palace at 4:05 before MVMCP, she said it was sold out for partys of 5 after that.
12-2 Candlight Processional Pkg. Biergarten at 4:25 for the 6:45 show.
12-3 Chef Mickey 5 pm

I still have open
11/28 I am thinking of Rainforest at AK and wonder if we can walk up for that
11/29 One of the ds wants to go to ESPN, so that is a non football night I hope
11/30 I dont know which park yet, I am thinking of mexico or sci-fi, those dates it will be just me and the 3 ds because dh will be at his Swan conference and they get all their meals there etc.
Does this sound o.k.

Tried again today for CRT but still didn't get it.... I'll just keep trying :)

I called this morning at 7 AM and then waited for 40 minutes to get a CM. That is my longest wait ever!

I did get all of what I wanted, not just at exactly the times I wanted them. Short of two of my reservations, after I had been on the phone for two hours, we were disconnected, and I had to leave for work, so I got my DP to make the last two, which she secured. And for the two big dinners I got reassurance that we would all be together.

12/3
Rose and Crown 6:50 PM for 8

12/4
SciFi Cafe 12:55 PM for 6
The Flying Fish 7PM for 6

12/6
Crystal Palace 4:00 PM for 6

12/7
Fantasmic Dinner Package, The Brown Derby 3:50 PM

12/9
Ohana's 5:15 PM for 11

12/10
Bomas 10:30 AM for 6
California Grill 7:20 PM for 6

We also have the CP at Marrakesh and hope to be dining at Bongos and Planet Hollywood, but those are through other means.

So, it was a rush this morning, but I am very relieved that this is done.

We usually do RFC as a walk-up because we joined the Safari Club. Check out the Rainforest Cafe and click on Ozzie for all the details. We found that the membership has paid for itself many times over through the years. I think it was $15 and we saved that much in just one trip. The best part is that we never wait more than a few minutes for a table regardless of how many people are in line being told the wait is 2 or 3 hours. I love that card! Plus it saves us locally at Joe's Crab Shack. I do suggest an ADR if you do not get the Safari Club card. Otherwise, you could be wasting valuable park time. Maggie

I have called 2 times today to try to book Dec 5, 6 and 8 ADR and they will not let me book til 9/5,9/6 and 9/8.
I don't understand how others in this post were able to book outside the 90 day mark??????
