Just made it through ROFR, June Reservation???

Hello...we just got notified that we made it through ROFR on Friday . My question is that we still need to close and that could take up to 28 days and then another week or so before we show in the reservation system, that timeline will probably be a little sooner based on how fast other's are going through the process but I'll defer to the longer time-line.

My quetion is, has anyone checked lately on availablity during Father's day weekend, June 15- 18? We are planning a long weekend with the kids and would like to use DVC if anything is available, a studio is fine. We are ust wondering if anything is still available or if I should start looking at other hotels in the area, OKW and BWV would be our 1st choices.

You might get SSR or OKW, but the others would be much harder to get. And even SSR and OKW may be difficult.

I just snagged a 1br at SSR for June 17-22. Good luck! I couldn't even get my beloved OKW. Think I'll manage though, SSR is our 2nd fave.

Thanks for the info, my guess is that it's probably more difficult to get a 1 br then it is to get a studio this close to the date. You didn't happen to inquire about availability in general for any room type during that time frame did you?

I was looking for studios for those exact dates yesterday. They had them at SSR, but only 2 of the nights for OKW, and one night at BWV (preferred) and one night at VWL.
