Hooray!! :bounce:

I just made our Hoop Dee Do ressies...makes the trip seem that much closer!:D

I do have a question, though, for those familiar with the HDDR. I was trying to get an idea of how many bookings there were (before mine ;) ) because I understand tables are assigned according to when the reservations are made. All the CM could tell me is how many were still available to book when I called, and he said 20 tables. Can anyone give me an idea of how many tables there are total in the room? I've only been once MANY years ago and we sat in the balcony. I was hoping to be a bit closer to the action this time.

Thanks for any info!! :D

It might depend on the size of your party. We booked last August for 8, and were the second row from the stage. The larger parties are on the bottom level.

Good luck, and have fun!

There are only 4 of us...2 adults, DS10 and DD7.

Thanks for posting, Deb! I'm sure we'll have fun wherever we are...:D

We did HDD last November and we were seated 2nd level just off-center. On the first level there were approx 30-40 tables, if I remember correctly; with some smaller tables closer to the wall. We sat second level (4 of us) and there were about 10-15 on our level right at the railing overlooking the show. There were also a few tables along the wall on 2nd level, but they were unoccupied (the view would of been somewhat obstructed from here looking at the stage so I'm not sure how often they use these tables). The view was great from our vantage point, however, most of the activity and audience participation/interaction was going on at the 1st level. Also the tickets, which you pick up beforehand, should show where your seats are located; and the Disney hotel front-desk should be able to tell you where your table is in relation to the stage. The food was great and the show was good. Hope this helps...

Thanks for the info, kashkdz! It gives me a good idea of how many tables there are. With our luck we'll end up against the wall somewhere...:p But we plan to have a good time anyway!

I booked in the middle of Jan. for July 1st. When I booked they told me that July 3rd (my 1st choice)was already completely booked for all 3 shows. So that being the case, I thought we would be way in the back for July 1st. Turned out that we were right against the stage next to the piano (table 14). So I really don't know how they figure out the seating. There were 5 in our party.
