Just made 2 ADRs for July 4th at MK!

I can not believe it! DH and I were lucky in being able to make a DVC reservation for July 4th weekend just a couple of weeks ago. And today, I thought, what the heck, I should see if there's anything available for lunch/dinner at MK on the 4th, since we're going to spend the day there (along with 10s of thousands of our closest friends ) and I know it's going to be incredibly crowded. CS is going to be packed, I'm sure.

Now, when I called I knew there wasn't a snowball's chance in hades of getting anything at this late date. But nothing ventured, nothing gained. So I spoke with a wonderful CM, Wilma, and she was able to find us lunch at Liberty Tree (lots of openings) for 2 at 12:15 and dinner at Crystal Palace for 2 at 9:40 pm. This gives us time to watch the fireworks, eat, and catch the last parade (hopefully).

Anyhow, just so excited I had to share!

congrats - we've been treying for quite some time to get in anywher eon July 4th.

Liberty Tavern was open from 11:15 till 12:30, with openings every 5 minutes! Of course, that was an hour or so ago. It could have changed by now.

Give them a call! One thing, no characters for lunch.

Wow! See you there! Was also surprised at makings ressies, tho I skipped th4th, figured we'd spend the day looking at the chaos from the CR!
