Just love the Points/Reservation Lookup Feature on the Members' Website!

Just called to add a night to my BWV Standard view reservation. (I'm doing day by day). As soon as I hung up, I checked the Members' Website and saw the addition already noted. It must be real time! YEA!!!!

Points totals matched and reservation info matched! Even has the confirmation number. Sure makes me feel good to know the "system" has it all down just the way I ordered it, LOL!

Thank you DVC! I'm really looking forward to the next enhancement, whatever it may be!

I love it too. I changed our resort stay for July from SSR to OKW (cheaper points and taking WHOLE family). It was on their right away. Nice to see!! It will be even better the more upgrades they do.!! LOVE DISNEY

This is a GREAT FEATURE for us. However, everytime I do the 'phone survey' when I call MS, I ALWAYS vote for making my reservations BY PHONE.

Just don't trust doing it on the internet just yet.

I'm a very dumb member. What is the member site and how do you get on it? Do I need a password? I may have had a password for this years ago, but I've forgotten everything. NOw it sounds like I need it. Thanks for all help.

If you have already registered and don't recall your username/password, you will need to contact MS for assistance. If you have not yet registered, you will need the member id and password provided by DVC to create you own username and password. If you no longer have that info, you will need to call MS for assistance.

It's well worth the trouble to register as the information available now (and yet to come) is great!

I'm a DVC rookie of two weeks. How soon can I start making reservations? Also when I put in a reservation request is it set in stone? I'm trying to make some plans for Febuary and I don't want to book airfare if I can't get a studio.

If you have your member number and are in the system, you can make reservations right now.

The earliest you can call to make a reservation at your home resort is 11 months prior to your desired check out date. If you want to stay at a non-home resort, the earliest you can call for a reservation is 7 months prior to your desired check out date.

Since you are looking at Feruary 2006, you can call for a reservation today if you like. As long as you cancel a reservation 31 or more days prior to arrival, the points used for the reservation will be returned to your account. You may reuse them for another trip that occurs before the end of your use year or you may bank them subject to your banking deadlines.

YEAH...thanks CarolMN for posting this note. I haven't been out on the Disney DVC site recently and didn't know about this upgrade. You're right, its a great feature! Nice to hear that its that timely and accurate too.

Towards the top of the page you can click on My DVC, then click on Points. Hope this helps.

I agree. I have had to use Safari to get into the site.
Does it bother anyone that NONE of this info is on an "https" secure server and all our sensitive information such as contract number, dates of reservations, etc. are accessible to anyone on the internet as we receive those pages to view since it is not coming over a secure server???? If anyone was monitoring the site, they could glean a TON of information because it is all coming via text rather than over a secure site. I don't understand why DVC has allowed this?
