YES.... we had them too. I actually mentioned it in my post yesterday... were there 10/23-31. What loop were you in? We were in 200 and they haven't paved all of the parking area so there was lots of sand, it seemed to happen only when we stood in the sand. We had itchy red bites all over our ankles and up to our knees. DH had it the worst... I think because he stood in the sand to grill. We took all of our cloths and bedding out of the RV little at a time once we returned hom and washed on hot. We could tell they were in the RV in the carpet... we would get bites there too. We sprinkled Sevin Dust all over the carpet and let it set overnight before vacuuming. We didn't see any more and the bites are finally going away. My son had chiggers a long time ago and they seemed to move up to the hottest part of his body, he was 7 and got them playing in a field on a camping trip.... we had to take him to the Dr. These didn't seem to move... but they sure did itch. It felt like flea bites.... somebody at the site near us told us they were mites from the spanish moss... I don't know, but we will remember that next time and spray the sand with some OFF.
