As usual sitting reading the dis, trip reports, dinning reviews. This year I am turning 40:scared: , and I promised myself that I would be in WDW and have breakfast with tigger on the morning of my bday, it aint happening...no funds, we are hoping to go back in 2009. I was reading and I suddenly became sad, I know we are lucky...but I so wanted to spend that big 40 in a place I love...never mind:mad:

:grouphug: Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear going in 2009 instead of 2007 but happily you'll get to go and have breakfast with Tigger then, happy birthday to you:cheer2: :flower3: party: :bday: :tigger: :tigger: :tigger:

Happy Birthday!

Look at it this way...only 19 more months till you can make your ADRs!!!!!!!!

We will be going in August with our 20 yo and 17 yo. I don't know how it happened either!

Hi Peanut,
If I could, I would have tigger come to you! :)
Dont think of it as a sad moment.. just think of it as a Belated b-day gift for yourself when you do get there... From the looks of it your ticker has an upcoming special event; just keep planning and enjoying what you are doing... it will be here before you know it and nobody has to really know when your real 40th birthday is! Celebrate how you want to when you are there... and maybe this year you can enjoy a breakfast thinking about whats soon to come! :) No matter what, have a wonderful 40th!!!!

Remember disney is the magical place so you are more than encouraged to celebrate your birthday in 2009. Since you have to wait :( make it a big fun celebration

Hugs hugs hugs... I understand... have you started planning yet? it's never too soon and it makes me feel better...

I agree. Planning does help. And there is sooooo much info out there on disney. Take the time to learn all the little secrets. I keep all of my planning stuff in one bag. And just sitting down and looking at it makes me feel better!! Start a planning journal for your trip. I love doing this. It just adds to the excitment.

And above all else...HAVE A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Happy Birthday! Just think how great it is to have something like WDW to look forward to. Better late than never.:flower3:

at least your kids are older. I am 42 and I have a 9 year old and a 4 year old!!!!!!!!!

You will be there and it will be well worth the wait. Don't worry about 40.
You are fabulous, you know that! And I'll tell you a secret.....50 is better.;)

I totally agree Cee
One of the best things we found, since my kids are older (teens/adults). My dh and I sneak off to WDW without them and if you think WDW is fun with the kids wait until you go with you love one with out them. All I can say is
va-va-voom.

thanks you guys...

you ask if I have started planning yet...
YES, I am a dis fan after all

I have a good idea where I want to stay, windsor hills, romancing the mouse. I have a note book at the side of me when I am dising so I can jot new things i would like to do....so the planning mode is good fun...

thanks for all the magic sent

not so sad...peanut

I'm agreeing here. Happy Birthday.

:bday: Happy Birthday :bday:

You may be sad, but just remember Disney Magic is always in your heart.

From one peanut to another.....keep your chin up. it will come sooner than you think.:flower3:

:bday: Cheer Up! I did not turn 30 or 40 at Disney, but I sure did turn 50 with Mickey! That went so well that I turned 51 with Mickey too. My mom said, again? I figure next year, I will go a little early and be home on my Birthday! The older I get, the easier it is to go! A little harder to walk, Ha! Have a good day!!!

My advice to you is to celebrate your second annual 39th birthday, then your 3rd annual 39th until you can see the striped guy at WDW...age is just a state of mind...enjoy!
