YAY! It is SO rewarding when they speak, isn't it? We got lucky- early intervention was able to help my kid become verbal, but I remember how hard it was when we were told she might not ever be verbal. Those words are precious.

Yes they are. I am so glad your daughter is speaking. Mine has a long way to go, but we are so excited for anything and any word.

OH you need to put a tissue alert in your title -- this made my eyes leak, wonderful news. I agree with the PP who recommend seeing Donald, (without being overly biased, I mean he is my hero!) he will often take extra time.

Have a wonderful trip with your precious baby girl (and yes, she will always be your baby -- mine is 27 and married and still my baby!)

After all the talk here about Donald Duck, we definitely will see him. He sounds like he has an understanding of making kids feel special.

I completely agree with our children always being our 'babies'. I tell my 10 year old the exact thing.
