My DS, Callum complained last thursday that his school shoes were tight, of course he decides to tell me this at 7pm when its too late to do anything about it. anyway friday I take him to school as I've got a day off but his Dad wants to pick him up at 5pm (his usual time is 6pm).
Callum stays for tennis lessons and so finishes at about 20 to 5 so I race him to town to look at shoes, they've only got trainer style ones in stock in his size and they aren't smart enough seeing as he's got a meeting with HRH Prince Charles and Camilla on wednesday. I get him back just as his Dad is drawing up in the car so I hurry over to him to say that he'll have to take Call into Exeter over the weekend to get him school shoes as he desperately needs them.
I get a phone call from my Ex at the weekend to say he's got him new shoes then proceeds to tell me how much they are and 'could you have the money ready when I drop him off on sunday?'

I nearly snorted with laughter - how stingy!
exes - don't they make you mad!

What a meanie :rotfl2:

I know! the funniest thing was, whe I said to Call 'I can't beleive he made me pay for your shoes even callum said 'what a b*****d!' :rotfl:

this is the man who wouldn't pay halves for callums residential school trip deeming it 'too dangerous' rather than 'too expensive' at £150!

Sounds like he need a good talking to! It amazes me how some men treat their exes and children, I've a number of friends to whom similar things happen.

Surely, he should at least go halves.

That is so tiight! It must remind you of why you divorced him!!

I would have expected him to go halfs at least. His son and all that. :confused3

Carol, Unfortunatley hon, this sounds oh so familair to me :sad2: We wern't married to the same guy were we ;)

If Gavin & I decide to take the plunge into parenthood I am def' getting some sort of pre-nup for this type of thing!!

I did laugh at this, though not sure if I'd like to hear DS say this ;)

Reminds me of SIL's ex. He is happy to pay for ipod, psp etc as he gets brownie points but asked for money for 2 t-shirts from Adsa :lmao:
