Just had to share this funny story...

So we got back on Friday from the world. Great time. Whole family (parents, sister, her kids, me and DH). Out of everyone DH is the only one not a fanatic. So we are in line for Turtle Talk with Crush and he is not happy (had to wait 20 minutes and he would rather look at the fish). Anyway we finally get in and of course Crush says "Dude", like 1,000 times. So in a complete conversational tone...keep in mind it is very quiet in there... my DH says, "If he says Dude one more time". Of course I tell him to SHHHHH. So then he says, "I have heard the word Dude more times in the last 5 minutes...". By this point I want to die. So then he raises his hand to ask Crush a question. Thank goodness he didn't get called on, or he would have asked Crush to stop saying Dude.
So, my apologies to anyone in the theatre with us who had to witness this embarrassing moment, but it was quite funny! Afterward my niece says, I could hear you on the other side of the theatre.

We had a great trip though, I did a trivia/scavenger hunt for everyone and they loved it. Definitely makes the trip more interesting/competitive. Also wear matching shirts, we got lots of extras from CM's when they saw them. Wasn't expecting it, but a nice "Magical Moment".

What kind of scavenger hunt did you do? it is just my DH, mom, dad, and myself - so not sure if they would like the idea - but that sounds like a fun way to make a place new again

I created one by taking pieces of two I found on the internet. I wanted to tailor it according to the parks we were going to, etc. Everyone really got into it, it did make an old place new again. Forced you to really look at things you may not have prior. We worked in teams so that made it even more competitive and then a small prize for the winner. Search the internet, I found lots of good questions. If you want a copy of mine, let me know I'll PM you.

I had a similar experience at Turtle Talk this past May. I was there with (now ex-boyfriend) and his two kids and when Crush asked if anyone had any question his 8 year old DD raised her hand and waved it around wildly so of course he picks her. She asks him how old he is and he answers her and then starts to talk about where he was born (I guess to go into the subject of how turtles are born). Crush asks her where she was born and she says "home" so he says, "o.k., that narrows it down. Where is 'home'?" So she says, "America." By this point ex-bf is ducking and holding his head in his hands. Crush then tries to get her to narrow it down even more and she then responds with "a land, an island" She was bor in North Dakota and he was trying to get her to say a hospital. Anyway, by the time it was over her dad was very embarrassed and asked her where she was born after we were out of the show and she just shrugged her shoulders. I told him that he needs to sit down with both of his children and interact with them a little more.
