Do to some changes with my inlaws. I had to change the time of the wedding to 2pm. Now what do we have to eat? Heavy horsdorves? Dinner?

so sorry! :( I think you could still do dinner...can you hold off until 3:30 maybe? People will plan ahead for whatever time your reception is. Our reception started at 9:30pm, so we told our guests to have a light snack around dinnertime...I don't know what people did, but I hope they had the sense of mind to do so...

for holidays, we usually eat dinner around 3pm, so it's not totally unrealistic...

good luck and I hope you figure it all out!

not sure how long the wedding will be but say an hour for the ceremony then photos so that will take you to say half 3 4pm then you can have maybe a cocktail hour and then have dinner around half 5 /6pm time

I would say we will be done with the wedding and photos by 3:30, we are doing the First Look, so DF and I will do alot of our photos before the wedding. I am talking to Shades of Green now. Thank God they are so nice.

I do not think 3:30 is too early at all to have dinner. I'd say, stick to your original plan and serve what you were planning on serving. People will probably just eat breakfast and maybe a light snack, so I am sure they'll be starving :p

Sorry this happened Laura, but I'm sure it will all work out and everything will still be wonderful pixiedust:

Thank you. Yes just got done talking to Shades of Green, we are sticking to the origional lunch menu, and adding a carving station. Whew thankfully Rev. Tim and Taz are available at the new time.

So glad it worked out- eventhough you don't need the stress/extra work! It is nice they are sticking with the lunch menu- does that mean you get to stick with those prices?

How great on having the carving station.. Let us know how it goes...
