Just gotta love my residents

At work on Thurs. I was having a bad day at my new job and was getting to point where I needed to get away for a bit but was trying to finsh up what I was in the middle of.

I had taken some phone orders from a doctor and some were for another nurse. She came over and as I was telling her what Doctoer had ordered, she snapped at me saying she REFUSED to write orders she had not personally taken. I had no problem with this but the way she said it to me just sent m,e over top and into tears. So here I am balling my eyes out and one of the residents walks over to me, gives me a hug, and says it will get better honey, You learn as you get older. I just thought this was so sweet.

That was very kind of her. It's always nice when someone takes that extra little step to make someone else feel better.
