We passed ROFR! We're the proud, happy new owners of 150 points at the BCVs.

The Oct UY contract was a really good one as far as we were concerned. We paid $78 a point + closing +'04 MF's, but for that price (which seems to be about what people are paying anyway for the BC now) we got an additional 150 '03 banked points with no MF. That will help us to stretch our points for several years if we keep banking.

Our original plan was to buy 200 points initially, but I am very happy with this contract for the time being, since it means we can take a breath and then start dreaming of add-ons. We've got our eye on BWV for the future, or maybe even the Contemporary, if it ever gets built. The dreams begin!

We just found out we passed, too! We have almost exactly the same contract...only at BWV (Oct. UY, 150 points, 150 from 2003, we paid all costs).

We have October also. It's a great use year for us because we always go early December. Last year we went right after Thanksgiving, which would have been messy with a December use year.

We will be going to the BCV in December on points we rented from a DVC member before we decided to buy. Our first official trip on our own points will be in May or June of next year. We're really excited.
