Just Got The New Customized Maps

I can't believe how amazing the new customized maps are. They give me chills. who ever is going to disney in the next 5 weeks should get them. They are so great words can't explain them. Tell me what you think about them. I know you'll love them

Got ours today too; very impressive! Now if I could just get my planning DVD and most importantly my DDE card I'll be all set for our trip. 10 days and counting....

The maps are very nice. The DVD is very disappointing. After all the wait, I was not very impressed. I actually liked last years much better. Still fun but ... not as fun as being at WDW though!

Got mine. Very nice but two of the maps had the wrong family name. Very disappointed. Sent them an e-mail and they responded right away that they would try to resolve quickly but have not heard back from them (3 days.)

Wow - that was weird about the name error. Was the map addressed correctly? Was it a mis-spelling or just a whole different name?

I love our maps! I'm thinking about framing the one showing all the parks and the resorts. I love all the little details on them. I don't want to mess them up with the little yellow stickers either!

They are very nice, the only thing is I wish they weren't printed on both sides of the paper. I wanted to frame them and hang them up. I guess I'll have to wait 6 months and then order another set so I can frame each park.

I didn't use it as a planning guide. I did a trip in October and I indicated where we went during our stay for our favorites. So, now I have a diary of our trip. I did this only a couple of days ago. The date calendar allowed me to go back to the month of October.

I like it showing exactly what we did on our trip rather than what we would like to do on our trip. It shows what we accomplished during our trip.

I even remember seeing these maps costing like $17.95 before they went free. At least I think there was a charge before. Anyway, it's a great rememberance. I would advise everyone to take advantage of this perk while it's available.

You can only do it every 6 months, but that's still pretty cool.

I ordered the maps and the DVD the first day they came out and haven't seen hide nor hair of either of them. Hoping at least the maps come this week since we leave Saturday!

I just ordered my maps and the new DVD yesterday, I won't get them in time for my trip but that's okay. It will be fun to get something in the mail when we get home! Only 9 more days to go!!!!!!!!

SnwflkCts: Whole different family name on both sides (printed on both sides - like AK on one side and MGM on the other for example). Not the favorite attractions etc that I picked out so I know it was not mine.

We just got ours, too. I was disappointed that they put in "Suggestions" and other things we didn't select. It kind of took away from the point of it, for me, but I guess they think they're doing you a favor, or their marketing department just can't resist.

Anyways, it served its purpose -- got our son all pumped up about our trip this summer, and opened up a conversation about whether or not he was going to be brave enough to *finally* ride Dinosaur!

He's going to give it a go!! Miles is a Dinosaur fanatic, so I knew he'd eventually work up the courage. He's 8 now, and ready to do some older kid kind of things!!
