Had reservations for June 30 - July 9. Just found out my time changed from 4:25 PM to 6:45 AM going and my return got cancelled altogether. This was a non-stop flight both ways and now the return has a layover on a different airline. Hopefully they were going to let me know; I found out just checking rates online to see if rates changed. I purchased 'classic rates' which includes TV, better seats and baggage. Now with the return on a different airline I will have to pay for the baggage, keep the recepts and hopefully get reimbursed from Frontier some way! Just venting and very upset with Frontier.

At least you have some notice. It's really bad when it happens a month before your trip and your options are very expensive. I would see what options are available and ask for a refund if you find something better.

These small airlines with limited service are risky, you have little options when schedules change or they pull out of a city all together.

Small indepent airlines are risky especially if they have an aircraft mechanical problem there is usually not enough equipment to subsitute.

I would look into a one way on another carrier.

I got screwed by Virgin America today! Must be flight time change day.

They changed my return, making it 7 hours earlier. For some trips, I could live with that, but that is the last day of D23, and I was hoping to attend it. I DID get a refund, but now air to L.A. is crazy high all over. I would have booked another airline, when fares were lower, if I knew then this was the departure time.

At least it is an August trip, I have time to scramble.

Have you checked Frontier . com to see what options/alternatives they DO have available for you? If there are different flights that works, call and ask to be put on those flights. If there's nothing that works, check other airlines. Find agreeable flights, then call Frontier and request a refund due to the drastic changes they made.

As for notifying you, well, your flights are still more than four months away. Airlines generally notify passengers of schedule changes in the order they'll be affected.

OP posted on another thread. Frontier changed the days of the week they fly out of Bloomington. Options are going to be limited out of a small city.

Exactly why I refuse to book them out of Trenton even though they've offered some great fares. Not enough alternatives if something happens to the flight you're on and no recourse if they change flights.

I am irritated with Frontier this morning also. I was checking rates just for fun and noticed they pulled out of our city effective May 2013. We were supposed to use them in late June for our Disney trip. I think what makes me so upset is the fact that they didn't say anything about it until I emailed them. I can either cough up two-three times the amount of money or drive 10 hours. Neither one of those options sounds appealing right now.
