Hmmm, interesting...wonder if anyone else has gotten one?:scratchin

I want to post a pic of it but somehow I blocked photos from my phone and can't figure out how to unblock?

Is it a true PIN with a 15 digit code or is it an advertisement with a 3 digit code?

I didn't know there was a dif? 3 digit code

And it only mentions wilderness lodge and animal kingdom lodge for for deluxe.

Good point... sometimes others who report such mail call only to find that it's not a discount at all!

Awe! That is sad. In the past couple years this is the 3rd time I have gotten a mailing like this- others were for a % off resort. How do the real pin codes come?

That is not a PIN. It is just an advertisement for rack rate. Sorry. :( Real PINs also come via snail mail or email. Good luck! :goodvibes

Geez, with what it must cost them to mail out those bogus 3 digit postcards you'd think they could skip it and send out some actual pin codes instead. :confused3

Edited to say: When I saw the title of your post I nearly flew out of the house to the mailbox....lol.....Im waiting on November discounts too.

I wonder if Disney's new marketing scheme is to send out emails and snail mail postcards with offers that are designed to look like discounts? There seem to be quite a number of people who have been excited to report that they've received a PIN code offer only to learn that it's nothing more than an advertisement for rack rates. I'm sure that there are a lot of people who don't know the difference and may book a trip thinking that they got a special discount.

I was sent pin codes twice last summer. They must have seen on my username that I was pricing out December vacations. I just wanted to see what we should save for this December before rates came out. Both pin codes came via snail mail.

So far this year I've gotten the marketing code twice as well. Once in email, once in snail mail. The snail mail was the same look etc as the pin code I got in the snail mail last year. I was bummed when I opened it up and saw 3 digits!

I received the same Game On mailer a few weeks back and was very disappointed to see it was just the 3 digit code.

I am sure it s a great Marketing tool since it gets people calling and then the CM's can nudge the potential guest into"Booking Now" with the promise of discounts coming in the coming months.

The % of people keeping the vacation as booked "now" even if no discount is released later most likely makes sending out these mailers quite profitable

Yup that is definitely not a pin code! Just another marketing scheme. I got the same one for November because they know that is when I plan to travel to WDW. It's a shame but some people who don't know any better will fall for it. It is just rack rates. I knew as soon as I saw it. This is starting to get a little rediculous. I miss the days when we didn't have to stress about these pins and promotions, the cost of a Disney vacation was just not as expensive as today.
