and must say i am very pleased with the service i got...called to add the evening Paris tour on Saturday of our visit since my DD is free if i book in advance...the lady who helped me was extremely polite and helpful...made sure to annotate my cousin's gluten allergy and added info to my request for foam pillows and nonsmoking room because of severe allergies...and when i told her it was my daughter's (11) and my boyfriend's (he's 51) first trip ever to Disney she said she would annotate that on the reservation so our stay could be made extra magical...whether that happens or not i truly appreciated the gesture...am hoping the next 6 weeks fly by....we are ready for a break from our record snowfall here in Alaska...now to decide on where we want to eat and call and make those reservations in advance too...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...thanks so much

Glad you are pleased with the service you received!

When you say resort do you mean Disneyland Paris itself or the hotel direct? I am thinking of ringin to ensure there is a nice travel cot as our one in Davy Crockett was broken and we dont arrive till 8.30/9pm I don't want to have to be delaying DDs bed time any more! Xxx

how wonderful :wizard: it's so great to get a wonderful service and polite and helpful staff member.

I always get problems while stating my name, I spell it... They do get it.. and it's written wrong after all :rotfl:

The reservation center i'm guessing...i called the number in my confirmation email/letter...all i know was when i explained why i requested the foam pillows etc she immediately said she would fill out a form explaining the importance of my request;so i'm thinking it must be the hotel reservation center...hope you get a good cot this time...

I just call the reservation number, choose the "already have booking" and after good day I just tell "I have a question but I'm not sure whom should I talk to, would you be so kind and let me know...". It always helps :rotfl:

i hear you with misspelled names...my last name is brothers and people misspell it all the time and it's hilarious to see the look on their face when they realize what it is..i've gotten to where when i'm asked to spell it i say "like brothers and sisters"...

I have a spanish surname Moreno I'm always being asked to spell it when people ring they ask to speak to mrs more no moray no
DH had the best one though can I speak to mr moron lol so funny

Glad you got good service. It totally depends on whom you speak to I think - I've had great calls and not so good recently .

Tinks - do make sure you remind them. I've heard it happen a bit where they forget the cot. Our last trip they forgot for my DD2 at DLH (she was 15 months at time). Then we had to wait almost an hour before they brought it (despite us reminding them twice). They were very busy but imo when it is quite late (our flight was delayed so it was close to 8 pm when we got to our room, almost 9 pm before they brought the cot as DD was so tired and niggly), they should deliver cots first, not baggage. In fact, they should ensure the cot is there in the first place! It did disappoint me a bit especially as you don't expect that kind of service in the DLH :headache:. Baggage was even later, but that is another story .

I just thought it was me and that I couldnt get the cot to go together properly one side! On our last day DH took it down and said did you know it was broken? lol I obviously didnt lol!
