Sending my best wishes to Maggie. Sometimes I wonder about some doctors. My mom went through a similar problem and had surgery with little anesthesia. Hope she is feeling better soon.

Thank you all so much kind words, thoughts, and continued prayers. .

Maggie was able to sit up and come online for a little while tonight, and while she wasn't up to posting, she did read amny of the posts here and on the other thread, and I can tell you all she was extremely touched by the show of concern and affection expressed here for her. .

As you can imagine, she was sore from todays ordeal, and the bad pain did start creeping up on her again tonight. . but it eased off before it got too bad, and she did manage to eat something for the first time in 24hrs. . and all in all she was feeling pretty good by the time she went to bed. . .

She has the appointment with the surgeon early in the morning, but it seems like that there we won't know anything new that's substantial until Tuesday. . I'm sure she'll be on to say hi tomorrow sometime. .

As for me. . . I'm concerned, scared, and I just hate that she's going through this. . but I'm hanging in okay and just doing my best to be here for her.
