Just got off the Magic.....

Just got off the Magic......despite periods of rain 6 out of 7 days and a complete wash out in Cozumel we had a great time. We booked again for Oct 2003.

Karen, it was great to meet you and your family.

Did You got rain on the ship during sea days?
When we were speaking to an officer,he said it never rains on board as they find sunshine and blue skies.



Smart move, booking in October, the Magic will be out of dry dock and looking hopefully brand new.

It did NOT rain 1 drop on Monday! GREAT weather. On Thursday, the day started off "cloudy", but the sun popped in and out all day. Friday, it was a DOWNPOUR before we got to Castaway Cay, but by the time we got off the ship, it had stopped. By lunch you kept getting glimpses of the sun. By 3, we were "crispy" red! OUCH!

What happened in Cozumel?

RellingTwin.....It was raining when we got there. Disney passed out umbrellas and ponchos as we got off the ship. We booked a submarine excursion at the last minute hoping they would be able to still go in the rain. When we got off the submarine it really started to pour. It "Magically" stopped raining later into the eveining and we had our deck party as planned.

Glad to hear the trip went well! The weather could've cooperated better, but watching it on the weather channel I was really concered your first time trip would have been a flop.

I was happy that they gave us the option to cancel with refund if we did not want to go on a pre-booked excursion.

When they said we could cancel out of the Cozumel Beach Break, we didn't hesitate.

We did go on 2 excursions on GC - the reef snorkel was great, an d the semi-sub was also very good, despite the incredible rain while on the tender. It rained so hard you could not see the island at all.
