Just got my tickets in the mail - no more characters?!?!?

Each of our four tickets have a picture of something in each park, like the new stunt show at MGM, and Soarin' at Epcot. That's different! We always told our tickets apart by the character (No, I'm Minnie, you're Donald!).

Not a big deal, but I hate when they change things on me. (I know, get a life!).

It all depends on the "blank ticket stock" used when printing the tickets.

I accidentally left our AP's in the hotel room one day about 2 weeks ago.

At Guest Services outside DAK, we had new ones printed (the old ones were cancelled at the same time) by the CM at the window.
These still had Characters on them.
But I did see some new ones with "attractions" instead of characters.

When they run out of one batch of blank stock, they move on to the "new" stuff.
(Just like "Charmin")

"Please don't squeeze the blank ticket stock."

The tickets we got in early January also had attractions, same ones as yours.

That's the ticket stock for the 50th anniversary HCOE celebration. I assume once the celebration is over and they run out that they will go back to the characters.

Our APs are like that as well. I miss the characters.

My AP has an attraction too, as does my friend's. I miss the characters, but if I had to get an attraction/park, why couldn't I have gotten Epcot or MK? Those two are my faves, not AK like I got! (My friend got MK. Lucky. . . )
I'll stop whining now. . .

We always told ours apart by the character also! One year hubby got 'stuck' with Minnie. I teased him about being a girl so much that he 'lost' his ticket and needed a replacement! Silly boy.

I didn't think much about it but my DH got Cinderellabration on his then when I got mine this past trip (needed to renew) I got AK which is ok with me since it was of Everest. YEAH~~

Glad to hear we're not the only family that does the character thing. And I'm also glad to hear that the characters will be back (hopefully!) after the 50th celebration.

Now if I get to the resort and they've replaced my Tinkerbell key card . . . it ain't gonna be pretty!

We just got ours for our next trip. Ours is like that too. The character ones were a lot cuter.

All of the key cards that I have seen have a picture of the castle on them. I miss the characters too on our APs, and the ones on the shopping bags!!

It's from a bit further back, But when we went a few months ago we ordered our hoppers and tix to MNSSHP online. Our hoppers were the ones advertsing the parks but our MNSSHP were the characters. So I'm pretty sure the new ones are just for the celebration.

When we got our passes last September, they didn't have the characters on them. They were for the new attractions popping up. I was finally glad that I didn't get Minnie which was normal for the few years before that.
