Just got my PPW-What's a Photo movie DVD?

I just got my travel docs and along with all the other stuff like tickets and room type and our vouchers it also list.

Photo movie DVD -1 per package.

What is this for I didn't have a voucher for it and wasn't for sure if it was something we got at check-in or what?

We got this too - it's a voucher for you to get a free Photomovie DVD, which consists of both Photopass pictures and your own pictures that you've taken and uploaded to the Disney site. You'll get a PIN number when you checkin at your hotel, and then you have until the end of January (for us anyway) to create the DVD and "buy" it. It says when we buy it we get it free if we use the PIN. Haven't gotten there yet, still collecting pix. Go to this page and scroll down the list on the left to PhotoMovie, then "Learn More".

I think if it's like the Free Photo from a few years ago you will get a voucher at check-in with a code on it. Copy it to some other documents incase you accidently toss it (beentheredonethat).

Is that like the photo DVD that cost like $100.00? If so why did we get it free because we didn't pay for it?

I just received my movie in the mail today! The price was 74.95 - but I did the coupon thing and got it free. When you check in to your resort, they will give you a paper with your photomovie code and instuctions. Make sure you keep your photopass cards and then go to the photopass website to redeem your gift. It's really cute! My only regret is that I didn't have more pictures on my movie. We didn't have a whole lot of photopass pics (my 2yo niece wouldn't cooperate) and my stinking dial up connection was having problems uploading my personal pics to the photopass site UGH!! If you have any more questions - let me know ....

Thanks. So do they put your pictures into like a movie. Is this like the Photopass CD that you can email photos from the photopass to people or is this just something for us to watch on the TV?

I booked a package with dining and we are staying at the CR. I was able to book it last Feb. with the 40% off deal so we are already getting a awesome rate so now I'm even more excited.

To those that got the offer - when are you going to Disney? We're going next month and I booked a package, but my freebies are a sea raycer coupon, the planet hollywood thing, and a free round of minature golf.

I ordered a DVD from our 2005/2006 trip and loved it! I know it sure as heck wasn't $75 then. I would love to have another one, and definitely for free. I guess it's not one of the offers for my time there??

We booked room-only (via a PIN postcard) and got the Photomovie bonus, so it's not just MYW. Maybe all guests are getting it. We didn't know anything about it until checkin.

Ok, so we've gotten our travel docs, staying @ CBR, MYW w/ DDP. Have yet to get room info and we arrive 12/5... when does that come? We got discounts for Sear Racer and such, but want to find out how to get the DVD. Anybody know how to get it?
