Anyone else see the "offer" for viewing the new DVC "timeshare" at Disneyland? It was a one page insert in the mailing. Very interesting, but no real specifics regarding price/point.

I got an insert about a Backstage Magic tour at DL. Didn't look very interesting at all -- just another marketing piece. I fell asleep halfway through it, so I'm not sure if it's what you are talking about.

The article about the Wilderness Preserve was interesting, however. Nicely done.

That's what I got also, Jim. Nothing about GCV.

It seemed like there were about four pages of DVC stuff in the entire 32 page magazine. They stopped selling the Disney Magazine years ago and resurrected it to give it to members disguised as a DVC magazine.

Also the ABD here...however, it does look like for the members only Backstage Magic ABD they will do an 'in depth look at how a DVC resort comes to be" or something like that. I'm already doing this ABD in Jan 09, so can't change to the Sept one..it costs more than mine did as well.

I agree that the Backstage Magic didn't look that interesting. Maybe it was the way it was presented.

We did enjoy the magazine, especially the article about the preserve.

I'm glad someone else noticed the lack of DVC information. I flipped through the magazine quickly when I first received it and thought maybe I had just missed the DVC stuff. Went back through...nope, not much there. I do miss the DVC info but the magazine is ok. BUT, I hate the new name! Why change the name after all these years?
