just a heads up for all my fellow travelers...I'm flying into Orlando from Newark in January and have been checking rates every single day....they just dropped $45 each for my flights down ( Sat the 13th - MLK weekend)....so I now have a $90 credit good for the next year to book another trip..

it never hurts to check your flights and I thought maybe this info would help someone else out there....good luck!

I am embarassed to say that I check several times a day. In all seriousness, have you ever had $19 each way? The lowest I have ever seen is $39 each way (from Boston). What is lowest anyone has seen and where were you flying from?

I need help. I don't understand how you get a credit. Do you have to cancel your original reservation? And doesn't that cost 30.00 per person per flight? Any help is appreciated.

liltoot, you just call jetblue and they will make the changes for you. I called two days ago, because our flights dropped by $20. First, they will check to make sure that they have that price (still) available for your flight. If so, they will issue a credit.

I'm so sorry - need to correct myself - what I meant to say was if I collect enough credits and apply them the next time I fly - it might only come out to $19 each way out of my pocket!..

I was looking and looking like you and about OCTOBER of 2005 for a Jan 2006 trip (TO TAMPA) I found $59.00 each way and booked it....the VERY next day it dropped to $39.00 each way to Tampa and I got a $40.00 voucher that I plan to use this year. (had bought 2 tix)!!!!

We go to Tampa to see my parents for one week, then one week in Disney then back to Tampa for another week and then fly home to Boston.

Momrek06 you have a DEAL!!!!!! I am looking for April, but I always watch for the deals. I remember last year when JetBlue had the $39 sale. I paid $59 each way in April and I am keeping my fingers crossed for a similar air fare. Basicaly it cost me $541 for all 4 of us round trip. A friend of mine drove this July and between gas, tolls, and hotel, he spent around $600-700 and 4 days of driving. Who got a better deal?
