Just Got LTT for 10/2!!! But...........

It's for 7.50pm. If we eat at this time we'll miss the parade, right? Here is what I'm thinking of doing, because we did this in July and it worked out very well for us.

I'm going to go to LTT on 10/2 right when they open and ask if we can be bumped up. When we did this in July, the restaurant was BOOKED solid and they weren't taking any walk-ins. They got us (a party of 10) seated within 10 minutes - one and a half hours before our scheduled reservation. It can't hurt to try this again. If they turn us away, then we'll cancel the 7.50 one right there and go to Pecos Bills or Columbia Harbor House.

But, don't give up hope for those ADR's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The meal will probably take about an hour or so, so you probably will miss the first parade.

I've been to LTT on party nights and it's a packed zoo! They are booked solid so I have a feeling you won't get in but of course, it can't hurt to try!

I wanted an ADR at LTT for the same night but have had no luck...but I'm picky too; I want between 4:00p and 6:00p. I'm eating at Tony's instead.

I'm picky, too, but I couldn't NOT take this time. I am going to walk up right at 4pm and see what they say. If they say no, then I'll cancel the ADR (so maybe someone else walking up can get it) and we'll get some cheeseburgers at Pecos Bills, or try the new thing at El Pirate y El Perico.

Keep calling, though. You just NEVER know!

the new Pirates is closed on MNSSHP nites.... We could NOT get an ADR in the park 9/30 so are eating at Citricos, changing clothes in the bathroom and then taking monorail to the party....

Oh, I know what you mean! I would have been VERY tempted if they said to me, "why, yes we have an ADR at 8:00p" so I don't blame you!!

I also got an ADR for LTT 10/2 at a time that wasn't really my preference - 8:10. I'm telling myself (and DH) that the meal IS part of the party...not an interruption of the party. Last yr, we ate a PB&J in the room while getting ready, and then looked jealously at those people dining at LTT...

How old are your kids? Mine are 3 and 1, so they're going to last maybe until 9 or 10pm (if we get a good nap in!). If they were older I wouldn't care as much b/c then they could stay up for the later parade. My DS wants to see the "scary" parade, as he calls it!

I'm still going to try calling and see if anything earlier opens up and if not, go right to LTT at 4pm on the dot and asked to be bumped up. It can't hurt to ask! And it worked for us in July with a LARGE party - this time it's just the 4 of us.

Look for us at the party - we'll have a little pirate and a little Snow White.

scanne - our kids are 4,6,and 14...I hope this will be the one day that we will all take that much-discussed afternoon nap! We plan to enter MK about 4 and stay until 11 (if 4yr old holds out!) I may try to do the same tactic of showing up early - We'll be the 3 girls in poodle skirts, and two guys in t-birds tshirts!

Anne we'll probably see you at MK as we are leaving lol - we'll be there most of the day but opted for MNSSHP on 10/6 so we'll be leaving around 5 to get ready for HDDR. If I pass by LTT at 4 I'll keep an eye out for you

Next saturday is the wedding. At this time next week I'll be married and waiting to go to disney.
